'Days of awakening' coming soon to White Knight Story

Some have been complaining lately that the PS3 is lacking in JRPGs, but most people forget that White Knight Story was mentioned in a Sony presentation as a game that will launch this fiscal year ending in April 2009. All we have from the PS3-exclusive Level-5 RPG thus far has been infrequent updates of screenshots and concept illustrations. But a tease on the official websites at Sony Japan and Level-5 tells us that's all about to change: "The days of wakening are coming soon." (translation courtesy of PS3Hyper) Speculation range from an announcement at Tokyo Game Show or some information in an upcoming issue of Famitsu. Stay tuned!

It's still lacking in JRPG's, Today, I'll be getting Disgaea 3 and that's pretty much it in RPG's
It's been 2 years and one decent RPG comes out.

not only that, but Disgaea isn't even a Jrpg.
I had to buy the armlet game its that bad... I don't even remember what it was called. it was the only JRPG and it was terrible.

I agree with vahdyx only one RPG for the PS3 after so long of waiting and we only have one PS3 only game. Heck even FFXIII will be on the 360 so you got White Knight and FFXIIVS. When the PS2 was around there was a lot already that were only on the PS2. So Seeing as RPGs are taking as long as they are these days you wonder if after the next FF game SE should start making games for the next gen.
Disgaea 3 I can't wait to play when I get it in the mail best way was ordering it from NIS. But as great as the Digaea series is out side of the hard corers not many people buy it. So really only two really big ones coming out. I can't help but wonder why Sony does not make some new games. I would love a new Alundra and Legend of Dragoon. Yet the genre that made the PS2 so big has none at all.
Yet the other genre that the PS2 had so few of now there is a lot. Shooters are great fun but I like my RPGs more. Even Disgaea really is not an RPG but an SRPG. Other RPGs that are coming from third party devs are worse on the PS3. Plus they get left out in some of the great features. Look at Fallout 3 on the 360 you will be able to buy new stuff for the game. The same thing happened with Elder Scrolls. Why is the PS3 not getting the DLC too.
So really were are all the RPGs. Level 5 may make great games but if you look at there size now and when they started with the PS2 there should be a lot more PS3 games out there then they made PS2.

Who cares if its exclusive? Just chill out and enjoy the games, stop worrying about which RPG going to a console. The RPGs will start flowing soon with Disgaea, Valkyria Chronicles, Eternal Sonata, Fallout 3, and eventually White Knight. If you are really jonesing for a JRPG the solution is simple, buy a 360, otherwise just enjoy the games.

I own both systems so many RPGs I can get on the 360 and a better like what I was saying about Fallout 3 Sony needs to get devs to make DLC for both systems not just one system. For me when you own both systems you want to see games that are only on one system or you wasted your money.
There may be a few games I like that are only on the PS3 but had I known what I know now spending 600 dollars is not worth it. So like I was saying Sony needs to get more games on there system only plus why can't Sony make a new Legend of Dragoon game the one was awesome on the PS1.

I live in Japan and here they have a White Knight Chronicals trailer on the PS3's in store. I will say this, WKC is gonna be HUGE, just as big and good as FF13/Verses.

The PS3 is getting the 3 best/biggest Jrpgs White Knight Chronicals, FF13 and FF13 Verses, 2 of which are exclusive to the PS3! Also, it is getting and will get much better ports [like Trusty Bell] of the so called 360 exclusives. Anybody still complaining about the lack of Jrpgs on the PS3 still, please wait till the comming Tokyo Game Show before u slit your wrists. I believe there will be plenty of announcements there this year with Jrpgs. Plus, the PS3 is Japanese and will most definitely have many more Jrpgs in the long run then the 360 will have.
