Retailers are betting on LittleBigPlanet this holiday season. They're looking at it as a real system-seller, and Sony is more than glad to educate them on what makes the upcoming "Only On PlayStation" title so appealing. This set of postcards is currently being distributed to Best Buy stores, where they will educate employers and shoppers about the wonders of Media Molecule's game. Any shop would be stupid not to take advantage of this, Sony will be shoveling money to advertise this and all the shops have to do is give these little leaflets out to people and put up a couple of posters.

What? You can't upload your own pictures from HDD? THAT SUCKS!!!

For F**ks sake Sony if you can do it in Home why not in LBP??

Woaaah there.

The image was expressing the Eyetoy compatibility... meaning you can add your Eyetoy photo's in game. More likely to appeal to those looking to buy or already have the Camera system themselves.

However, no where does it say that this is the only method available.

I may be wrong myself, but to base your opinion on this step by step demonstration, seems a litte harsh. Quit being such a prick.

I'm the prick?? Sony is hindering a hugely hyped game so they can flog their not-selling very well accessory camera, which has really pissed me off. If you can't see that i suggest you stop being blinded by hype.

And basing my opinion on that "step by step demonstration" is not harsh because if you could upload pictures from your HDD they would have said it at the same time as advertising the Playstation eye. And because they didn’t, which means it’s a feature most likely not included in LittleBigPlannet.

Turns out it has not been included. Great. Now if I want a picture in my level, I need to make sure it can be within six or so feet of my future Playstation eye camera that needs to be purchased.

Yeah I think i over reacted a little bit as well. I have a saw level planned with the whole level being full of crushers and electric floors ect. I was a little bit annoyed because now i need other means of gettin saw pictures in.

I didn't actually look at any other website to confirm LBP had no HDD upload. But kinda knew it when i saw the card lol.

I still think its because Sony want to flog the Playstation Eye Camera because you can upload HDD images to Home and Sony beilive this console will be a system seller. Or maybe it is the Dev's who don't want to risk copyright infringement.

Ah well. No hard feelings then :)
