Get wet with new Aquanaut's Holiday footage
Download to PSP
Japan Studios loves nature, it seems. Afrika simply wasn't enough for them -- they're jumping into the deep waters of Aquanaut's Holiday. Very little is known about this upcoming PS3-exclusive nature game, but we're expecting the beautiful HD visuals will be slightly more alluring than those found in Endless Ocean. Make sure you watch the video in HD by clicking the full screen option to get a better look.

I see a september 25 at the end, it's already coming out next month? Also, I noticed a modern city underwater.

Here's to hoping it hits the American PSN 9/25. Looks great.

Can anyone tell me if this and Afrika will be coming out in the US? I really want them both.

I'm eagerly expecting this game to be available in the USA. I hope that it will have an interesting storyline as well as gorgeous graphics. Also, I think that us PS3 shooter fans deserve a futuristic water-based shooter game with submarines, ships, boats, amphibious vehicles, and SCUBA-equipped soldiers with dive propulsion vehicles.

Am I taking crazy pills? No one remembers this? This was originally a PS1 game that I played the plankton out of.
You would explore for underwater items like shipwrecks and ruins, 'collect' fish species by locating them in the world, and build a reef system to stimulate plant and fish life. It wasn't terribly exciting, there is no story, but it was really weird and cool.
I'm really into the way this strange game is going next-gen, it's likely going to look awesome in HD and the processing power of the the PS3 compared to the PS1 could add more dimension and exploration aspects to the game.
