It's Sackboy & Friends on the cover of the US box of LittleBigPlanet. It looks like a bundle of fun, and best of all ... it's "Only on PlayStation."

It's about freaking time they used the "Only on Playstation" deal. I'll definitely be purchasing this on day one.

It's because many customers will be stupid enough to ask where the Xbox 360 version is. Then store clerks can just point to the words and go.... Sorry.

Trust me store people are stupid. Like 1 person who wanted to buy a used 360, non refurbished, no hard drive, no extended warranty, and could not be talked into making a better purchase. He had just enough for the system.... Why? Why would someone do that. Even people who LOVE their 360 would have a heart attack hearing about that. This was even before the Falcon Chips were out.

That's the reason why they use stuff like "Only on" because customers are stupid. Of course sometimes companies are stupid and falsely advertise that when they aren't going through with it, but still.

What really pisses me off is when people say Xbox 360 has exclusive games like Gears of War and Mass Effect. They may not count PC but I sure as hell do. That's why DCU Online kinda bugs me that they're using "Only for Playstation."

Can't they just use "Not on Xbox 360 or Wii" instead? lol

i do believe Gears of War and Mass Effect came out first for the 360 then later PC, which is why it said "Only on Xbox 360" at the time.

Bioshock came out on BOTH 360 and Pc, it said "Only on Xbox 360 and Windows".

i never pre order games and never have a problem getting one. guess it depends on where you live. NYC is full of stores.

I agree. They seem to care a bit more about aesthetics and package design than the american consumer does.

Overall I like the NA cover. I think that SackBoy has too much lighting on him and theres a little too much Sack Friends in the bg. When I saw the EU cover all I thought was wow this is one of the most original covers in a while and it fit the theme of the game really well.

i actually like the American box art more. it seems more solid and less broken. i also don't care for the hot pink and lips sticker on the EU version.

i'd have to say i like this box art better than the eu's. this makes sense to me and sackboy looks awesome (mostly cuz as 16 the karatekid pointed out, it's nixon!). and all the others hanging out in the back, that's what this game is supposed to be: many, many sackpersons.

i agree, this one's more to the point. i like how the 'planet' in this cover looks more stitched together and it's pretty Big, not the small globe he's holding in the EU cover.

this one says LBP to me.

I'm digging the artwork and the hype for the game.

Maybe the "Only on PlayStation" tagline Sony will use can leave it open for games to fall onto the PSP platform down the road. Remote Play games, PSP-PS3 integration, etc. If LBP gets big enough, maybe they'll find ways to integrate this game with the PSP. (I can dream, right?)
