Last day to vote for Battlefield: Bad Company conquest maps

Today is the last day you can head over to EA's Battlefield: Bad Company site to vote for which two maps you'd liked to see modified to become a Conquest battleground in an upcoming map pack. You can choose between Acta Non Verba, Crossing Over, Par for the Course, Ghost Town, Welcome to Bad Company and Crash and Grab. It looks like Par for the Course is at the head of the pack, with Acta Non Verba at a distant second. In addition to the two maps selected in this democratic manner, two will be dictated to us by DICE. Make your voice heard by casting your vote here.

Dice/EA
FIX THE DAMN MICROPHONE ISSUES ON PS3 ALREADY!!
DAMNIT!!!!
this game has been out for 2-3 months and the people with Microphones enabled while playing this game get freezing and/or can't hear or use the microphone after 1 match, its ridiculous!
Along with no clan support, lackluster Multiplayer menu, no ability to change team or autobalance and other issues... I've been a 1942, battlefield 2 fan on the PC but this is probably the last DICE/EA game i buy :(
And what bugs me is the early screenshots of this game looked fantastic and the final version is this grainy mess with no anti-aliasing (On both 360 and Ps3)

Agreed. The game is brilliant, but it could (and should) be better.

PREACH ON! MGO and other online games have won me over due to the mic issues. Last I heard they said Sony was working on it so they've completely washed their hands of the issue. It is a great game but having the mic freeze out is such a pain. How hard can it be!?
Popfrogs @ Sep 2nd 2008 5:11PM
I don't think they can. Warhawk and other games also have mic issues, I think Sony broke something in the firmware the last time around.
However, they CAN fix the sound crackling bugs, the lag, the hit detection, the collision detection...

I dont play BF anymore due to the lag. As an Aussie there are absolutely no decent games. I stand by the notion that BF is the crappiest awesome game ever and Im trading it for the first semi decent game that gets released.
I really dont see why developers arent giving us the option to host our own ranked matches, like GRAW2/Warhawk/etc, or at least give us a lobby so we can choose what kind of latency we will be dealing with.... like GRAW2/Warhawk/etc. I mean come one! these games, for all intents, are old and they did it really well!

lol...I didn't even know there was a vote going on. Tells you how much of the online I've been playing.
This game's still fun, but it could be so much more if they fixed the mic issues that everybody seems so angry about. Must be coordinating the teamwork that is so vital.

4 guys armed to the teeth and storming the enemy base in a golf cart will be great.
This game owns me. (Colonel_Mayhem:PSN)

Can we PLEASE get some Karkand love? I dont care about the new maps from Bad Company. I just want Karkand Conquest mode I can play using my PS3 controller.
krippledkalvin @ Sep 2nd 2008 9:01PM
yes! Karkand would be amazing in this game and they desperately need to fix the hit indicator and make it so you cant tag friendlies with the designator cuz it pisses me off when a n00b comes up and thinks its funny to put them all over me.
