Resistance 2 Collector's Edition fully unveiled

Here it is: the winning Collector's Edition box art. Looks like people voted for the correct choice in this art. The upcoming Collector's Edition will include all of the following:

Created by DC Unlimited, an exclusive Chimeran Hybrid action figure with Bullseye weapon.
A double-sided hard-cover Resistance 2 art book covering war-torn America from two unique perspectives.
Exclusive in-game HVAP Wraith multiplayer weapon skin
Copy of Resistance 2 with special edition cover artwork selected by the fans
A preview into the upcoming Resistance novel, "Resistance: The Gathering Storm" by well-known science fiction author William Dietz.
"America Forever Lost", Behind The Scenes video of Resistance 2 with Insomniac Games
"Shattered History" Resistance chronology video -- provides a visual guideline from the earliest days of the Chimera invasion to the current storyline.
Digital copy of Issue #0 of the Resistance comic book series published by Wildstorm.

The collector's edition will retail for a $20 premium over the regular not-special edition: $80.

Apart from the game, i think the figure will proberbly be the biggest call for people to buy the Collectors Edition.

I have a Saw IV comic, read it once. GTA IV artbook, had a breif look while installing. Got various behind the scenes game dvd's, watched once during lunch/tea. Metal Gear Databse i read just a few times ect. ect.

Multiplayer skin will be a big draw as well.

Regardless, this is definatly the best Collectors edition package i have seen. Worth the extra money!

There is very little gameplay of this game. Trust me I have been following it VERY closely and I have a thread about it on the official Resistance forums.

you do have a point. there is certainly some video of it out there but now that im actually thinking about it, it doesnt really amount to very much. i just keep seeing the same videos over and over. Chicago with the anorexic Chimera sprinting at you, and then the multiplayer level in the woods. with the release date set already, i have no idea why they havent shown that much video of it.

The multiplayer skin is the main reason y I'm buying this (something u can brag to everyone about, not just ur friends). I wouldn't have pre-ordered LBP if it wasnt for the Exclusive Kratos Skin. The figure does look kick @ss though.

William C. Dietz is a TERRIBLE writer. Eric Nylund is so much better. Seriously, Dietz's Halo book read like a walkthrough it was so boring. At least Eric Nylund books are written well and have story.

Anybody else find it a little ironic that the bonus content is on a DVD and not a Blu-ray? It's not like R2 is multi-platform.
