Get a look at NBA 09: The Inside's story

Quite possibly the biggest feature for this year's NBA game from SCEA's San Diego Studios is the addition of The Life, a story a mode which chronicles the player's journey from the streets to the NBA. This first trailer highlighting the single player campaign looks pretty epic -- will this be able to differentiate itself from the other NBA games coming out this year?

Either they were showing the ps2 version, of the graphics are lacking.

But Basketball isn't my type of game.
I prefer Football (Soccer).

I dont care what they do 09 will come in last place like it does every year. the game play sucks, the animations suck and the character models super suck compared to 2k9 and Live. Sony needs to just worry about other games and let this one die.

I thought that NBA08 was the best basketball game out last year. It was just really fun, had good graphics and played well.

As long as movement/gameplay is fluid, the game has a big shot at differentiating itself....I just want to see more in-game graphics during gameplay to really get a sense of how it plays......looks good though

I agree with Drdre74, the choppy animations, character models are always horrible compared to NBA2k series. They have that plastic look and the animations are not fluid. If they can step it up and make it look like MBL08: The show then I'm in.

Actually, Andrew, The Life mode debuted in NBA 06, which was actually subtitled The Life Vol. 1. Regardless, this game is still awful. It's unbelievable that this heap comes from the same studio that makes MLB: The Show.

dude what is with these nba 09 haters? i mean i think this game looks fun. 08 had decent graphics and i love the shot meter that no one else has if its anything like 08 and if its better, its mine. PS, to all you haters out there, wake up!

I have purchased NBA 09: The Inside for PSP. It does not have The Life on it. What the hell? Is this an error because that is the only reason I bought it.
