The most epic Jeopardy! trailer ever
Download to PSP
Whoa, where did this come from? A new trailer, released on the PLAYSTATION Store today, unveiled the brand new PS3 Jeopardy! game. It does everything you'd expect from a game based on the popular TV show, but this trailer does an incredible job of selling the game, thanks to the catchy theme song.
The game teases Trophies, but unfortunately we're not sure if these are XMB Trophies or not. We'll have to wait for official details on that. We love some trivia, and so long as this downloadable title is priced right, we may want to find ourselves in Jeopardy. Now, can we have some more info on Wheel of Fortune?

Why do gameshow game contestants always look & act stupid?
adolson @ Sep 4th 2008 10:34PM
Because they're gameshow contestants.
BananaBoat @ Sep 5th 2008 8:09AM
What is up yours Trebek.
James @ Sep 4th 2008 7:57PM
Characters look similar to Home avatars. Now if you could take your home avatar directly into this... perhaps Jeopardy could be integrated into Home?
RossGough @ Sep 4th 2008 8:20PM
exactly what i was thinking.
it looked like a home space when i first seen it.
as well as the avatars.

gadjet @ Sep 4th 2008 8:13PM

I must say... something about 'epic' and 'Jeopardy' just strikes me as being odd in the same headline.
mewoks @ Sep 4th 2008 9:20PM
No Trebek, no sale! Hear me, Sony? T-R-E-B-E-K!
drchucks @ Sep 4th 2008 9:25PM
They should add home support so you can use your home avatar, whenever it come out.
nakedatthecomp @ Sep 4th 2008 9:42PM
PENIS MIGHTIER!
spinthelights @ Sep 4th 2008 10:39PM
From the intro of the movie I thought we were looking at a Jeopardy version of Tron's light cycle. Alas, twas only a bit of computer wizardry. "Anal Bum Cover" for $500 Trebek.
phr3qu3ncy441 @ Sep 4th 2008 10:50PM
while it's too early to say... what they should've done was integrate this with home. having all these casual games and such (in the future), linking them to home would increase the value of home itself.
let's say you're in home and you sit in front of the tv. that's how you'd select a game like jeopardy and your avatar would instantly be thrown in.
importing avatars (just the models) is one thing, but seamlessly integrating avatars somehow with games like these and others would be great.
as for jeopardy, unfortunately i might have to side with buzz on this one... it just seems to have more variety. but for the right price, i wouldn't mind adding more trivia to my collection.
phr3qu3ncy441 @ Sep 4th 2008 10:52PM
now if they really want to make it interesting, creating a contestant should allow them to make a connery look-a-like.
also, a release date of febtober would be epic imo... if not to at least mess with people.
SnazzyD @ Sep 4th 2008 11:51PM
phr3qu3ncy441 , you're right on the money. That kind of integration would be awesome, and I hope the bright lights over at Sony have thought of stuff like this.
Beyond that, releasing a utility/app that would allow people to actually design their own homes would be a stroke of genius. When it's 40 below in February, I'd have my uber-cool beach house on the HDTV all day...
JaseH @ Sep 5th 2008 12:51AM
It's funny to see the Jeopardy logo & the Joystiq logo in the same place...
They're so alike...

Also "multiple choice"? No sale.
nasa_man @ Sep 10th 2008 7:24PM
Even the 1980's Nintendo version of Wheel of Fortune required the entry of an answer using an on screen keyboard!
Brian @ Sep 7th 2008 7:19AM
How funny that the PS fanboys were ripping on the game shows on Xbox Live coming this fall, and now that Sony copies them...oh, it's so cool.
Pathetic.
