Pennsylvania man assaulted by brass knuckles over PS3

An 18-year-old man was punched in the face with brass knuckles and then kicked during a dispute over the ownership of a PlayStation 3, the Tribune-Review reports. Here's how it went down: the unidentified victim went up to a group of about 30 people 9:30PM in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, curious to know why people were gathered there. Next thing he knew, it was brass knuckles in the face and his PS3 was taken from him.

Now the police are searching for four men who assaulted him, as they were not apprehended at the scene of the crime. Maybe it was best not to approach a large group of people gathered on a street corner after-dark with your PS3, huh?

not the smartest 18-year old. i used to work for gamecrazy in rosepark (north salt lake city) and would ask people if they wanted me to walk them to there cars when they bought a ps3 wether it was night or day.

You're probably right. Not a lot of people carry PS3s around to begin with, especially not at 9:30 on a Friday when they should be playing them.

Damn people always steal ps3. People must want ps3 really bad they just dont admit it. No one likes the xbox 360 or the wii? damn thieves stealing people's hard work. They should just tell sony to co-op with the cops and track the serial number for the ps3 if it ever goes on PNS they'll find that fool just like they found the one before.

aside from this kid being a idiot for all the above stated reasons, whats REALLY funny to me is this: The attackers.. i guess 'suspected attackers' at this point... just committed felony assault for a ps3? seriously? hahaha. did anyone read the linked article? they gave out full names and addresses...

so when these guys are found, not only will they have to deal with felony assault charges, but their houses could be stalked by ravenous ps3fanboys.

This post is incorrect. Nowhere in any of the news coverage does it say that he was carrying a PS3. The news article said there was an argument over who owned a particular PS3 but there is absolutely no indication that there was actually a PS3 on the scene. Read the article again.

Keep thinking that no one wants 360 to make your selfs feel better. I have both consoles and I have to say it has the most forgettable library of games ever, yes and i am also talking about MGS4 already a value game in japan. Every game in the series since the ps1 game has sold less. I beat gears, fable, out sell it by 3 to 1 or more. keep your selves in denial so you can all feel better about your shitty game system and the worst bluray player on the market.

he/she should use a car and go directly home.

hahaha....I may come off sounding like a jerk but that kid deserved it. Why are you gonna go up to a group of 30 people with your ps3 in had? not the smartest idea. I'm guessing he never heard the expression "Curiosity killed the cat" but in this case the cat got punched in the face then jacked for his ps3.
