First LittleBigPlanet billboard on eBay
Well, Sony told us eBay it. And it looks like jonnoj04 is the first one to answer the calling -- the seller has put up number 99/1000 of the limited edition LittleBigPlanet signs up for sale on the online auction site. He/she didn't even have to resort to stealing to obtain it -- this individual was told by the landscapers of the area where it was planted the sign would be removed soon and allowed him/her to take it.
The auction begin yesterday at $0.99 but it is already up to $21.50 with the auction ending this Friday. The shipping costs range from a little under $10 to a little under $15. Will you be spending your cold-hard cash bidding on this? Or will you be keeping your own eye out for one of these limited edition babies? Decide after you take a look at the auction right here.
[Thanks, James!]

You know what would be awesome to put on that billboard?
Some little mini Sackboy figures tagging the thing with spraypaint writing "Play Create Share"
iamkid @ Sep 8th 2008 7:51PM

gadjet @ Sep 8th 2008 8:03PM

You know, I think the actual lure in having one of these is so you can eventually sell it on Ebay for some cash after finding it in public for free.
To buy one online yourself, would lose the point completely, in my opinion.
But hey, I guess it's creating publicity & acknowledgment.

With that said, I bet someone will bid ridiculous amounts just to spite this guy.

Care to explain why?
I won both the PS3 & 360. I'm a realist. And I haven't taken the liberty of putting down neither console.
So what's your point?]
Yes actually, but I will attempt to explain instead of just saying my opinion like some people. You are not a realist you are an idealist because if you were a realist you would understand the difference in bias, instead of "theoretically" understanding it. Lets look at what news you are more interested in (Check Profile if Curious), and it appears you have posted in PS3 Fanboy.com about 96.4% of the time. This does not mean you don't have an opinion (allowing even an educated one) upon both consoles as you obviously participate in the subculture of both. This mearly shows your increased interest with PS3 news more than 360 news. This also is suggesting you are more informed with PS3 news than 360 news, and therefore can create a more educated debate/reply upon PS3 news since you know more of the "global picture."
Now if you actually took the time to think about what you did you would realize the idiocy of your hypocrisy. By telling someone who has a different opinion which conflicts to your own to "stop coming here" [when here is referring to PS3 Fanboy.com] instead of validating their own argument you realize how fucking hypocritical you are being since you yourself claim to debate equally with both 360 & PS3. IF YOU BELIEVE YOU SHOULD READ ONLY ONE SITE THAN LIVE IT! Otherwise, you could actually make an intelligent decision and instead of just giving generic internet *owned* messages you can establish your own self identity.
You are a fairly smart person. I have read your posts, and I actually agree with much of your arguments. However intelligence and ignorance are completely different, and maybe you should just think about something:
"Are you part of the solution or part of the pollution?"
You decide.

hiphop1slife @ Sep 9th 2008 1:19AM
the 1st person to buy it is smart. they will prolly sell it for double.
j.howlett @ Sep 9th 2008 7:24AM
i want one, i could probably make my own
tinyEvel @ Sep 9th 2008 12:21PM
I can completely see why someone would pay for this. Didn't they say they'd only be in L.A. N.Y. and S.F.? If I was a huge fan of the game and lived somewhere else, I'd love to have a ltd. ed. thing like this. What, one of 1,000 made? Heck, I've paid $400 for Evel Knievel jump posters and stuff like that. Hey, if you've got the money and the desire....
elad @ Sep 9th 2008 2:30PM
retarted.
Jim @ Sep 9th 2008 3:48PM
"retarDed" is the word. But no, it's not any more retarded than people who collect figures and limited editions. If you have the disposable income, $100 is harmless. Now, being a multi-millionaire and spending $1M on something useless; that's retarded. That kind of money could be going toward charity instead of a statue of a lion humping a bird.
