how much are individual songs?
Hotrod @ Sep 8th 2008 4:23PM
Man, this makes me wish I never sold my GH3!! Will I be able to play GH World Tour with just the guitar? I don't really care for the drums and singing.
P.S. This album is amazing, I can't wait until the 12th to get the disc version and rip it as lossless audio.
kevin @ Sep 8th 2008 4:50PM
yeah the 99 dollar bundle which is only the guitar and game.
bkalasin @ Sep 8th 2008 4:30PM
What's with that album cover? Looks like some sort of variation of vagina dentata. One of the band members pick up the clap on their last tour or something?
kevin @ Sep 8th 2008 4:51PM
no you perv. its a coffin!!
realityzero @ Sep 8th 2008 4:39PM
I was wondering how long it would take GH to jump on the full album band wagon.
kevin @ Sep 8th 2008 4:51PM
i will only buy this when they release the patch for the rock band guitar for gh3.
Yamerias @ Sep 9th 2008 4:37AM
Same here, if Rock Band can have a patch done, so can Guitar Hero.
Mike Candelaria @ Sep 8th 2008 5:23PM
boooooo thats too much for it man that upsets me oh well i guess i'll have to deal with what i m guessing will be 25 bucks for GHWT I doubt it wll be the same price
Peter @ Sep 8th 2008 5:18PM
They really have no ideas that aren't ripped from Rock Band, ah well, GH will kill Rock Band everywhere outside of America, bring on the price wars!
John @ Sep 8th 2008 9:36PM
Annoyed that the price is so high. Sell it at the same price as a song on iTunes, and sell the songs separately, please.
Great album, love a lot of the new songs, but I'm expecting these songs are going to be very tough on Medium or higher (Average song length is 7 minutes). Additionally, the drums will be absolutely insane for Guitar Hero: World Tour. How will they implement a double-bass drum?
kevin @ Sep 8th 2008 11:58PM
hmmm lots rock band songs have double bass and they track it not as fast though.
Danarchy99 @ Sep 9th 2008 6:18AM
Actually it is just as fast as it should be in rock band for the double bass notes. sometimes its slow enough for one foot to handle but when it isnt they just do one foot. all of the disturbed songs track double bass with one foot and its crazy fast but you can manage a 4x on expert. the really quick quadruplets that lars does in all of the songs on rb except enter sandman are NOT mapped its just a really quick double hit. but for the most part you use one foot for the majority of double bass in RB. although there are parts in blackend and ride the lightning that are so effing fast they are almost impossible those patterns come down to luck ;p

If Metallica makes money off it, they'll do it.
Peter James @ Sep 10th 2008 10:29AM
this Album is better than Master of Puppets. There has to be some-one who says it. Don’t be scared, it really is THAT good! Kirk would be VERY happy
Jeebus @ Sep 10th 2008 1:01PM
This will be the first Metallica album I'll download instead of buying. I feel they owe me after I bought St. Anger.
