10 more tracks revealed for Guitar Hero: World Tour
While it is all good fun compiling a list of sparse reveals and slowly making our way towards a full set list for Guitar Hero: World Tour, we really just want to know the entire track list by now. It's a simple and polite request, we think, and hopefully the details will trickle in magically. However, until then, we'll have to rely on more short bursts of info.
This time around, we've got another 10 tracks to show off. Nine of which were revealed by Rolling Stone, and the 10th track (revealed in a press release today) is Ted Nugent's "Strangehold" -- which the artist himself will appear in-game alongside Sting, Ozzy, Billy and Jimi. As for the other nine, they're songs from bands like Dream Theater, NOFX, Filter, The Stone Roses (pictured), and Steve Miller. See that list after the break.

Dang, GH:WT no matter how good the game looks the songs sure aren't appealing. Maybe its the fact that I have all the DLC from Rockband, so these extra 10 tracks aren't what I really appealing considering I have 250 songs. Probably best song on the game is still Tool.
Torgo @ Sep 11th 2008 5:03PM
Uhhhhh, huh.
Rock Band 2 is looking better and Better every day
Averna @ Sep 11th 2008 5:58PM
The best part is that they are saying GH:WT has "the biggest set list" and "the biggest artists"... what a joke.
dicknjane @ Sep 11th 2008 6:44PM
most defenitly.
Packfan @ Sep 11th 2008 5:34PM
Wow, GH:WT is really letting me down track-wise. LOVE RB2's track listing though, plus 97% of my RB1 songs and my 50 DLC songs, RB2 is the obvious choice.
dookie311 @ Sep 11th 2008 5:47PM
Buy the GH:WT complete kit for the better guitar and drums. Buy the disc-only RB2 and then rent RB1 and import all the tracks to RB2.
Then this stupid argument over which is better will be null and void. :P
Personally, the track list for GH looks more appealing, especially with the music creator. But, RB does DLC like no other, so sadly, both games are must haves for me.
Averna @ Sep 11th 2008 5:58PM
Thats exactly what Im planning on doing.

Anti-Social by Trust isnt even in English . . .
Awesome.

I love Rise Against. Now the only problem is thinking about how long it will take for this to be released in the UK.
wilboss @ Sep 11th 2008 6:35PM
Band on the Run FTW!! :D
usty @ Sep 12th 2008 7:42AM
Agreed. Paul McCartney and Wings and this isn't a big deal how?
Zach Adams @ Sep 11th 2008 6:35PM
Wow. Guitar Hero got the long end of the Dream Theater stick; arguably their best-known song. That aside, though, RB2 sure seems to have the stronger overall list.
Hegemony @ Sep 11th 2008 9:33PM
I personally feel more atracted of playing Pull me under than Panic attack, it's just more Dream Theater like...
hamildan @ Sep 11th 2008 6:57PM
stone. roses.
stone roses people!
wilboss @ Sep 11th 2008 7:30PM
Holy crap I totally overlooked that first time.
Love Spreads is so awesome, not sure how the slide guitar will work but maybe that's where the new touch-sensitive fret section comes it, you never know...
Majed Athab @ Sep 11th 2008 7:38PM
Good to see other Stone Roses fans here!
duckhunt8 @ Sep 11th 2008 7:01PM
NOFX is my favorite band :P
GH:WT is easily the choice for me, RB2 only has a few songs I like. DLC makes no difference, since I won't waste too much money on that (if at all).
Richie_Tozier @ Sep 11th 2008 7:56PM
Damn it Guitar Hero World Tour, I want to like you but this isn't helping. Unless you can pull some better songs out of your hat, it looks like i'l be buying Rock Band 2 instead.
tom @ Sep 11th 2008 9:36PM
Sorry GH, but it's time to die!
Joshua Mills @ Sep 12th 2008 9:16AM
Better songs on GH:WT for me. I don't much care for the whole DLC aspect of RockBand, as the GH3 setlist has kept me happy for near 6 months, even the "bonus" songs and free downloads, so I fail to see why I should drop a bunch of cash that I don't have for more songs to a game that I don't particularly enjoy. If I played multiplayer more, maybe I'd have a different opinion, but as a solo-guitarist, it makes a huge difference to me.

"Trust" is a French band...
