I need another trophy game to save me from the impossible PAIN ones. Burnout and now Bad Company! I'm going to enjoy collecting those and adding to my 49 :)
DeforMAKulizer @ Sep 12th 2008 4:24PM
Amen to that =D
Averna @ Sep 12th 2008 8:40PM
Warhawk's trophies are pretty fun to get (ignoring the warhawk achievement and the general achievement, which would take a looooong time)
That and Uncharted is a bit fun. Ive said it before, but throphies and achievements add value to any game. Hooray for replayability.
I too have been hanging out for Burnout throphies for a while. I want to get them all so I can trade it for Midnight Club :P
thinkofmeasmra @ Sep 12th 2008 4:21PM
I may just have to buy this game afterall....it being a mere $30 regular price also makes it tempting
Tez (PSN: Tezasaurus) @ Sep 12th 2008 4:27PM
It's even cheaper used. I got my copy for $20.
eddie @ Sep 12th 2008 4:29PM
what about xbox release, when will that happen?
Tim Parsons @ Sep 12th 2008 4:48PM
I would assume next week as well
Eddie @ Sep 12th 2008 4:57PM
Yeah I would think next week too, but for some reason Criterion likes PS3 over xbox360. Like for example, the cargney update.. it came out on PS3 first.. then 2 weeks later on xbox
Si @ Sep 13th 2008 10:46AM
6-8 weeks, according to 247gaming..
PS3 is lead platform on this (and it shows). developments trickle down to the 360 afterwards.
This is way EA are operating now. PS3 first, 360 afterwards.
Tim Parsons @ Sep 12th 2008 4:37PM
SWEET!!!!! I'm gonna have to speed up and finish off Oblivion totally to trade it in and focus on playing Burnout until Deadspace comes out
sumario @ Sep 12th 2008 4:44PM
To be more precise, there is 4 bikes. 2 from the start, 2 to unlock.
Dreadhead541 @ Sep 12th 2008 4:43PM
when can we buy the downloable version?
Vidikron (FU) @ Sep 12th 2008 5:04PM
I'd like to know this as well.
LatinoLA1 @ Sep 12th 2008 4:46PM
FINALLY, i was wondering when soon was for them, so now i know its still feels like a long wait though, but can't wait for it to come...
Shin @ Sep 12th 2008 4:49PM
I heard it'll be a free update and the X360 version will come much later.
Still..too bad they ruined Burnouts name with the bikes, to me Burnouts are going NFS way now .. older ones were golden but the new one(s) are crap.
Freeroaming & bikes just isnt traditional burnout. :(
justinb @ Sep 12th 2008 4:57PM
This isn't traditional burnout this is single player burn out, a different version and type of game, they are doing a burnout that will be like the old ones. You should give it a try.
Of course it will be free they always are. The xbox one should be sometime soon.
eddie @ Sep 12th 2008 4:59PM
Hey, weither you like them or not.. its free. ANY other company would charge you $5-$10 for this...
be thankful and stop complaining...
Evi1d33d @ Sep 12th 2008 5:13PM
I agree with you, Paradise's free roaming kinda ruined it. I loved Burnout 3 and didn't like the Burnout paradise demo. But for $30 and free updates I might just pick it up.
Kodros @ Sep 12th 2008 5:41PM
"I loved Burnout 3 and didn't like the Burnout paradise demo"
The demo didn't do this game justice. I really didn't like the demo either but had faith in the dev. Bought it, loved it and put a good 50 hours into it.
Ty @ Sep 12th 2008 5:09PM
And Midnight Club LA still isn't out yet... sighcakes...
eddie @ Sep 12th 2008 5:11PM
LOL... wrong company. midnight club is made by rockstar
Ty @ Sep 13th 2008 1:21AM
who said I was referencing the same company?
Midnight Club LA STILL ISN'T OUT YET. And another sandbox racing game gets bikes.
Hence sigh... If you've ever played Midnight Club 2 you'd know why I'm crack for MCLA.
Evi1d33d @ Sep 12th 2008 5:16PM
So is the bikers going to have ragdoll physics and fly off the bike when you crash? Use your dead corpse to take out other riders in after touch lol.
Jerses @ Sep 12th 2008 5:40PM
:S No, you can blame the E+ rating they gave. I was thinking... if they can add rag doll physics in the online version...you know "gameplay may change in online version.. ESB not rated :P"
evilfoxhound @ Sep 12th 2008 5:28PM
I stopped caring about the bikes when I found out that you can't crash them, which is what Burnout games are all about LOL
gillyallan114 @ Sep 12th 2008 5:32PM
only reason 360 Cagney update was delayed was that MS found a few bugs in it. reckon both will release at same time this time.
Invisible Robot Meat @ Sep 12th 2008 7:00PM
Imagine that, microsoft delaying the release of something for quality reasons. BAHAHAHA! :)
Averna @ Sep 12th 2008 8:42PM
*Kelso imitation* !!!! BUUUURRRRRRRNNNNN!!!!

Burnout Paradise is a gem: 40 Hours of Gameplay and I'm still only at 90%.. And the game never gets me bored. Running so fast with Classical music in background is, well.. EPIC. And online is nearly perfect: never suffered lags or stuff like that.. Also, the free roaming concept really is an evolution for this game, adding tons and tons of possibilities which the older games didn't have.. Man, just give the game a try and you'll understand! :p
Criterion staff is great, kudos for all this good (and FREE!) stuff their adding to an already fantastic game like Paradise.. :Q__
RavenPaul @ Sep 13th 2008 9:55PM
Paradise is a good game but the one thing I miss is lapped racing around the city. I get bored with just racing from point A to point B.
