the reviews were pretty good and it's exclusive and on top of all that, it has trophies! i'm definitely getting this as soon as possible.

This is one of the best racing games I have played. Different feel than GTP. Both are top level games and these trophies will make it even better.

This looks like a pretty good racing game: good reviews, good graphics, devs that update the game with new features. So what went wrong marketing the game? I bet the game flew under most PS3 owners' radar. Hardly anyone ever mentions this game. Seems a shame.

One to buy when it gets a bit cheaper, from the reviews I read it only seemed passable and not really all that awesome or worth $60.

is that really everyones deciding facotr now,trophies? come on people i buy games for the fun and the online not to get a trophy, i mean yeah its a plus but not a deciding factor for you to buy a game...

i agree with kevin, ever since developers started making trophies people now use it to decide whether a game is good or not. some even rather play a crappy game with trophies than a good game without trophies

people play games for fun not to obsess about a game having trophies or not.

You don't get it, collecting trophies is fun for us trophy collectors.

So yes, I buy games for the fun factor too, fun collecting trophies.

well i think trophies are a plus. now i will never go and buy a game i know is terrible just to get the trophies but on a game where im on the border about it or scared of a lack of replay value, trophies can be the factor to tip a game into my cart.

for example, if Heaven Sword came with trophies, i would have probably had no problem buying instead of just renting it. but it was too short to justify my $60. i rented it for a week, played through it twice and returned it. the trophy hunt would have been enough for me to play through it many more time more than likely since it was a great game anyway, just too short.

I have this game and I love it. I've had more fun with it then I had with GT5P. If you are not use to sim racing games, this game will kick your ass. The AI is very good and handling the cars are also very decent.

Probably by 2009 Sony will make them mandatory. Keep in mind Trophies are new and most of these games have been in production for along time and it would take even more time to go back and ad trophies.

This game is fantastic, i bought it straight after i rented it. The trophies are a great add-on but the gameplay should be what makes it stand out. There are endless custom vinals (however you spell it) which you can mix and match to pretty much make any designs you want. The A.I is amazing and when your racing, you feel the intensity that you whould feel if you were driving a real Ferrari. There are loads of different races, challenges, tournaments, time trials, and more. Plus there is a new patch coming up that will add IN-GAME MUSIC!!! This is one of the best racing games ever!!!

Although it's a decent sim/racer with good physics (perhaps even more accurate than GT5P), there are a few quibbles and issue that I wish I'd been aware of. The cockpit view is unuseable (not too much of an issue), the game struggles to give a decent 30fps most of the time (big issue makes overtaking, late braking and cornering harder), with my G25 wheel there's a big deadzone which makes steering not as accurate as I would like (esp. with a $250 wheel; apparently gamepad works just a well or better than a steering wheel). Being a graphic whore, I can't help but scoff at the PS2 (welll, slightly better) quality rendering. And the replays (ghastly!). But the wet (raining) race, almost made up for all the blunders (almost). I would've skipped the game had I been aware of the problems. I do, however, understand why some peole love this game.

I got this game over the weekend, I love it. I can't wait for the trophies to come out and apparently this patch will also include custom soundtrack support so we can play our own music while playing the game. I've also heard the new patch will improve the framerate. This game is awsome though and not to hard either, reminds me a bit like Forza on the Xbox 360.

This game does have it's problems, but it is quite fun and I really like it.
The trophy patch on the 17th is EU only, 'some time in 'late September' for NA.

Is anyone having a problem with this games trophies? I picked it up and have even unlocked some trophies according to the list. However, none are unlocked and it doesn't even show up as a game that has trophies in the Trophy Collection of the XMB. I have never been prompted to download a patch by the game and there is no way to manually do so in the game's options. Did the developer pull the patch due to some bugs or something? I'm at a loss.
