Geon: Emotions coming to PSN with improvements and Trophies
Revealed through the ESRB, Geon: Emotions has been officially announced for PSN. The former XBLA-exclusive is making the transition to PS3 with a bevvy of enhancements, like a redesigned single player mode and a new League mode. Players will have attack and shields standard and a new goal scoring system promises to make each round more tense.
There will be four player online and offline multiplayer, and the title will support PSN Trophies. We can expect it in the vague timeframe of "soon."

I'm sorry, I'm not at all familiar with this game... Was it good when it came out on XBLA?

No, it's awful.
Played the demo, it put me off the full game completely.

Geon is fun, but unfortunately, no one bought it when it came out for Arcade. It's a real pity, because multiplayer is a blast.
Think of it as a "combat Pac-Man" game.

Yeah, seeing as how this is PS3Fanboy, most of the readers will most likely not be familiar with this previously exclusive game. A brief description of the gameplay may be in order. Is it just another dual analog shooter?
I'm at work, and i only briefly browse articles from rss feeds. I wont be clicking on links or doing google searches while at work to find more info.

I think it was viewed as a decent game (with middling Metacritic scores) that didn't get much play on XBLA. I vaguely remember trying the demo, thinking that it seemed alright, but I never went any further than that.

This came out shortly before I sold my first 360. I liked the demo but since I was selling the system didn't buy the game. When I got my second 360 about 6 months later I tried it again and almost bought it but held off. I'll definitely be getting this for PSN and I'm glad it's coming over to the dark side LOL
