Be a four-man army in Call of Duty: World at War co-op trailer

Has it been a while since you played a WWII shooter? Well, Treyarch is hoping you're saying "yes" for the upcoming Call of Duty: World at War. The follow-up to last year's GOTY-winning Call of Duty 4 goes back to the past and adds a few new features, like this new 4 player online co-op mode. No longer will you go through war alone. Join three of your friends and gain XP in World at War's most exciting feature.

Check out the very M-rated trailer after the cut. (And uh ... be over 17 years old when watching the trailer, or the ESRB is going to hurt us. Thanks.)

How the hell is going to buy this game? Comes out the week after Resistance 2 and the week of Gears 2. Plus games like SOCOM, Left 4 Dead, Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, and Fallout 3 release around the same time. Does Treyarch like sabotage?

This game might not be that bad, but it's released after LBP, R2, so can't buy this.

dude..just dont post another comment again...1 it's not a ps3 exclusive and 2 it has to be on the market for 7 months before it can be a greatest hit which it won't because its not an exclusive

I personally feel that it will be lost among both systems' respective "A" titles. This game regardless of its merits, I would not bet selling as well (remotely) as the last one. (Still don't care about the graphics, the period has been overdone for me to the point of nausea). I think it better for them to go for a January release or even February if they want to stand out.

I will simply have to do some overtime to get all these
wonderful games coming out shortly . LBP, COD5 SOCOM , Fallout3 , Bioshock, FIFA09 ,Manic Miner, PES09, Tiger woods09 , Killzone, Rock Band or Guitar Hero WT , Wipeout HD ,Resistance 2 , jesus I still haven't even got MGS4 yet .
I cant imagine the PS3 ever having a period of so many big releases again its life cycle.

I think this game will do just fine, it will not be on the
greatest hits list in three months cause the idea of
a game going to that is it has to sale 1mil copies.
Then again you could be right i think it will sale 1 mil
copies but in less time then 3 months.
PS3Fan reporters whats the story on it having trophies
any news on that?
Or having rumble effects, since Modern Warfare does
not either on line or in single player mode.
Plus how is the on line part being done hopefully not
like Modern Warfare.
Any news on these would be great.

Awesomeness!! I was not even going to give this game a second glance... but now that it's going to have 4-player co-op, it has suddenly moved up the list of MUST BUY. Sweet... WW2.... like Medal of Honour, CoD 1-3, all over again... but with 3 friends this time.
