are trophies retro active for burnout paradise?
Lootskin @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:23PM
I believe not. Let's hope for it.
djhsecondnature @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:25PM
Yes!
chimaera2008 @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:29PM
@lootskin, I read that they are retroactive, due to the unique way the game saves the Burnout "achievement" data.
djhsecondnature @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:39PM
It's due to your game save being locked to your PSN ID allows them to be retroactive.
squirtforce @ Sep 22nd 2008 4:19PM
I just noticed that a couple achievements I unlocked yesterday are gone today, so I redid them and they still didn't stay after I reloaded burnout. Maybe there is some server update happening or something. Anyone else have it so an achievement isn't saving right now?
Xiao @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:19PM
Words can't describe this upcoming Thursday.....:D
DelSource @ Sep 22nd 2008 6:34PM
Bet you ten squids that those whining b*tches who add comments at ThreeSpeech will still find something to whine and b*tch about come Thursday afternoon.......
Averna @ Sep 22nd 2008 8:02PM
like wipeout not being released in europe for another week, and the trophy patch only being available to US regions only. SCEE might do it, look at their track record *shrug* still dont have novastrike.
Xiao @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:21PM
Words can't describe this upcoming Thursday....:D
But yea, Trophies will be retro-active for Burnout ;)
Mikael @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:22PM
noooo! hate when this happens, now i don't know what to get. either Wipeout HD or Burnout Paradise
Xiao @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:22PM

Squirtforce @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:25PM
Oh god I just totally filled my pants. It's like a smorgasbord for the senses down there. BURNOUT TROPHIES!!!! STUNT RUNS ARE HARD!!!
Tez (PSN: Tezasaurus) @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:57PM
No they aren't. You can get 40x + on Stunt Run just by sticking to the outer edge of the map.
squirtforce @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:59PM
Explain, please.
devilmaker @ Sep 22nd 2008 4:04PM
Billboards, air time, super jumps... double barrell roll of the dam (that puts you on 15,000 points with a 6 times multiplyer straight away.)
Think Adrian @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:26PM
I thought Burnout Paradise was already out?
kevin @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:29PM
not on psn...
Think Adrian @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:11PM
So, what's the point?
adolson @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:19PM
The "point" is that now anyone can buy it from the comfort of their living room, on impulse, and never be able to trade it in should they ever decide they don't like the game or not longer want it anymore.
Hashbrown Hunter @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:23PM
Cheap re-release and the improvements to the game. Think of it as Burnout Paradise +
Think Adrian @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:46PM
Ah, I see. Thanks!
So... uhm... I'd rather just go to the store 15 mins away and then download the updates.... :)
FasterDownloader @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:30PM
Words can't describe this upcoming...
rockmanjoey) @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:30PM

WipeoutHD is already confirmed for Europe, I don't care for Megaman, but what about Burnout Paradise on Euro PSN..
Anyone know?
Hife @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:35PM
So all of these burnout updates... these are either already released or will apply to disc versions of the game correct?
zyxwiley @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:35PM
so for the price of 1 new game, we get three (presumably) awesome games? sign me up.
Wat up Homie!! @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:36PM

jae29one @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:41PM

IceColdMalik @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:55PM

ftrunks @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:36PM
Exactly! I'm thinking the same, unless there's a still something on the Blu Ray disc that's not on the PSN version? Anyone know?
Gambit07 @ Sep 22nd 2008 2:55PM

alexnz @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:04PM
From the sound of the original post at criteriongames.com, throphy support isn't coming out on Thursday, but soon.
"A pack delivering PS3 Trophy Support will be released imminently and included for free."
Just don't want everybody getting their hopes up too soon!
John S @ Sep 22nd 2008 3:04PM
