European Qore-a-like coming in 2009

It will feature "news, reviews, features and downloadable content on games, movies and more." Which sounds very similar to Qore (except for reviews, perhaps). We suspect this will be well received once it's released. Europeans have been asking for a Qore of their own for months, and it seems Sony has been listening. We're just wondering who the British equivilent of Veronica Belmont is going to be ...

JaffaBoy @ Sep 24th 2008 10:30AM
Perfect choice!!!!
Such a gadget girl and fantastic in leathers (when she does the motorbike pre-race interviews and is walking up the track with the cameraman following behind).

Suzy Perry would be perfect for the job.
Whoppy @ Sep 24th 2008 11:58AM
Just as long as it's not the bald bloke off the Gadget Show or Dominic Diamond :D
Not that I'll buy it anyway.

Future Publishing do a good job with the PS3 mag so this might be worth looking into. I love the reviews they do on the free disk, so funny!
Marky264 @ Sep 24th 2008 9:07AM
Wooo! I hope Gemma Atkinson is the face of the new E Mag, Shes already been in that new video game Red Alert 3 and she was at the 02 Sony Event this year too she must be a gamer fan! One can only hope she does it!
master811 @ Sep 24th 2008 9:53AM
Oh god no, as much as I would like to see her on there, I doubt she really knows that much about gaming.
Suzi Perry on the other hand would be far better as at least she has some kind of tech show background.
Ravenblade86 @ Sep 24th 2008 9:09AM
What you forgot to mention is that the plan for this one is for it to be a weekly magazine unlike Qore which is monthly. Sounds much more like a magazine to me but perhaps they will be making some changes to Qore aswell
monkeymajiks @ Sep 24th 2008 9:16AM

Who is suzi perry?
Whoppy @ Sep 24th 2008 11:57AM
Presents the Gadget Show and some Superbike stuff in the UK. The only techy/geeky media woman in the UK that I can think of....... Apart from that one who writes for the Guardian but she doesn't wear leathers.....
Christian @ Sep 24th 2008 11:57AM
Or maybe the follow in the footsteps of LBP, instead of a girl it will be Stephen Fry hosting it :)
mutleymcladd @ Sep 24th 2008 12:26PM
downloaded, bikes are very nice. Feel totally different.
Pitty there are no actual races though !
Not looked at the day/night cycle yet could be interesting.
