Geon comes to PSN soon (as in, tomorrow)

Instead of using pictures, we decided we'll use words for this one. Geon (formerly known as the game, Geon: Emotions) is making a surprise appearance on PSN very soon. In fact, it's coming tomorrow, according to a post on PS3Trophies.co.uk. "Short notice, but that's the miracle of digital distribution." Geon will be available on the US PSN tomorrow, and next week in Europe.

Unfortunately, we think the game will be buried under the massive hype that's been built up for the other downloadable games releasing tomorrow: Burnout Paradise, WipEout HD and Mega Man 9.

I downloaded this game on Xbox and well it sucked. Well it wasn't my type of game, someone else might get a kick out of it, not me though.

One of the few good things with Digital distribution is that the game doesn't need to compete with other major games for shelve space. So it might get buried by the other games coming out the same time, but it will still be up on PSN store for later purchases.

So if you ain't got the money to buy it now, you will probably have it to buy it at a later date. So no need to worries for the game to be removed from shelve (psn store)

I'm very wary of last minute additions to the PSN store. The last time I fell for that was Jeopardy a few weeks ago. Not a horrible, horrible, game but wasn't up to what I was expecting.

Great game on Xbox LIVE Arcade, new features and and a few ironed out problems would definitely warrant another purchase from me on PSN. Maybe I'll finally be able to play the multiplayer component online, as I've yet to match with a single person on 360 - and I purchased it day one!
