WRUP: What are you playing?

It's week two of WRUP. Find out what the staff is playing -- and let us know if you're one of the many that are playing the gazillion games that came out on PSN this week.

Jem Alexander - What won't I be playing? There's the LittleBigPlanet beta to be getting on with, plus I need to finish Call of Duty 4 (really enjoying it so far). WipEout HD will also be eating my time, along with Mega Man 9. Oh, and I keep meaning to start Burnout Paradise and rack up a few Trophies. Three Xbox 360 games are still in their plastic, waiting for me. Haven't a clue when I'll have time to get to those ...
Majed Athab - I've been playing a bit (yes just a bit) of WipEout HD. The reason for this is because it is actually giving me headaches. I am literally getting dizzy and can only play for 20 minutes at a time. Other than that, I picked up SimCity Creator for the Wii. Oh, how I miss you SimCity -- haven't really gotten back to this series since SimCity 3000. This week is way better than the last.
Alan Tsang - I'll try out Mega Man 9 and try to finish up Star Ocean: First Departure, but since I've been sick, more than likely I'll just be getting some rest.
Andrew Yoon - This is my last weekend in America before heading off to Korea and Japan. Too bad the NY Anime Fest is in town, which will hinder my time to game. (If you're at the show, let me know!) When I do scrounge up the time, I'll be playing more Buzz! and LittleBigPlanet.

I am going to be playing Burnout mostly trying to get the trophies and maybe some other games when that one gets a little frustrating.

And how are people getting so many beta invites? and i haven't received not even 1, and been following on how to get them and yet no luck, i feel left out....=(

I'll be playing WipEout HD and starting Chrono Trigger, which I recently picked up. I'll also be trying not to throw my controller at my TV while playing Mega Man 9, that game is ridiculously hard.

Majed, you're not alone. I find it hard to play wipeout hd too for longer than 10 - 15 minutes without feeling dizzy.

1 - Brothers in Arms Hell - Gamefly
2- Socom Beta of course, the servers are getting better
3- COD 4 - I play this religiously, at least for an hour

Maybe wipeout hd, I have yet to play. Still undecided about buying.

BTW - Just my 2 cents. I played the demo for mega man 9 and i wasnt impressed. I would say you have to be a big fan of the series. anyone elses not like it?

Yea - im glad im not the only one who thought that. and yes it was difficult to make that first jump. If they pimped it out like bionic rearmed and gave it some 1080p treatment, then i would cough up my 10 bucks. At least they gave us a demo to try before you buy. So thanks to capcom for that.

I've got a 15mbs connection and it took 5 hours to download wipeout........ anybody else think ps3 downloads are slooooow?

I'm not very smart when it comes to internet connectinon speed / NAT Types but I can tell you that when a LOT of people are trying to download the same thing you are, it'll be rough. And since I moved to Purdue, their internet connection trumps mine from home. I download a 0.6 - 1 GB demo (average) in 40 seconds.

Ya I want the LBP beta so bad (GIMME GIMEE). I'll be playing Disgaea 3 (going for the big numbers in lvl) and some Battlefield Bad Company. Also some LEGO batman and warioland. Gasp, I know. A sinner.

O, and Megaman 9 kicks my butt. I'm not good at the old games. Must be my age. It was fun, but it joins a library of 3 games that I can't beat.

Well, I've been playing tons of WipeOut HD. Lots of fun. My problem hasn't been with getting headaches and dizziness but my eyes have been burning a bit for going too long without blinking. Other than that, FFIX, because it's one of the few I haven't played and I've been RPG starved lately.
