Play Valkyria Chronicles in next Qore issue
Just what else is going into the already fantastic October issue of Qore? Why it's a playable demo of Valkyria Chronicles. It's the latest S-RPG from SEGA and it's set for release on November 11. If you missed the San Francisco event this past Friday, the Qore issue demo -- which will be available on October 9 -- is your next alternative to an early sneak peek.

Wish i could get Qore in europe seems like they get all the cool stuff.
Tim Parsons @ Sep 28th 2008 3:04PM
find a NA PSN friend who'll let you snag it on their PSN account, if you log into someone elses PSN account anything they have purchased on that account you can download Via Veiw Downloads in PStore, i've done it on my brothers PS3 to give him the PSN games i had purchased prior to him owning a PS3, and Qore stuff, it even works with Betas
_sean_ @ Sep 28th 2008 2:16PM
sold
kevin @ Sep 28th 2008 2:17PM
Yeah but i bet you it won't be avaliable immediately.
like always...
black_ryuk @ Sep 28th 2008 3:06PM
I'm gonna agree with you on that one.....though if it did come out right away no body would complain
DeforMAKulizer @ Sep 28th 2008 2:23PM
Yay for demos!!!!
Can't wait to try it out! =D
lantus @ Sep 28th 2008 2:44PM
Sweet! Qore just keeps on getting better and better, I never thought it would've been as appealing as it is now.
Nathan @ Sep 28th 2008 3:39PM
Yeah but remeber these demos would have been available for everyone for free before Qore was around. And with Qore US only people like SCEE have to come up with ridiculous random email schemes to make the demo available in Europe (e.g. Motorstorm). It sucks plain and simple. Paying for demos? No thanks.
Warner Young @ Sep 28th 2008 2:44PM
That's interesting. The Sega staff at the Metreon event seemed to think Oct 9 was the date the demo would be released, but didn't say anything about it coming only in Qore.
Tim Parsons @ Sep 28th 2008 3:04PM
yeah this is good i have no idea if im interested in this game or not, but im interested in finding out
KINGSNOOPY26 @ Sep 28th 2008 3:39PM
unlucky of me there is no PSN cards in my blockbuster but all I need to know is Valkirya going to be available in the Playstation store after like 2 weeks or even a month anyone know?
Gambit07 @ Sep 28th 2008 3:55PM
The only Sega game I've been interested in a very long time, but I ain't paying Qore for a demo, I can wait for the release.
_sean_ @ Sep 28th 2008 4:16PM
Yakuza 2?
Packfan @ Sep 28th 2008 4:48PM
I just think of Core now like a cheaper version of XBL. No, you're not paying for the actual online service (which is awesome) but little extra benefits for a lower cost is nice. The $3 a month price point along with the $25 annual isn't bad at all for extra content.
Amol @ Sep 28th 2008 5:24PM
You need to buy Qore to play the demo? I was at the SF event, and they mentioned nothing about having to buy Qore. I thought it was free-for-all. But I won't lie - the demo was awesome. Then again, I'm a cheap person - I wouldn't pay for the demo when I will be paying for the game =)
Tim Parsons @ Sep 28th 2008 5:36PM
it is free! , but Qore subscribers/buyers get it a lil early that's all
realityzero @ Sep 28th 2008 5:41PM
Sweet I really hope there is no wait to download this from Qore.
I noticed a play station magazine (Can't remember exactly which one) had a free code for qore ep3 inside it. Not sure if they do that for every issue but for those who can't find a PSN card might be able to get your hands on qore that way.
S @ Sep 28th 2008 10:33PM
Yeah, and if I you write down that code at the back of the magazine, you'll be stealing it from the poor person (kid?) who buys the magazine and finds their code is no longer valid.
Don't believe me? Look through the other copies and notice the code is unique in each one...
Dartmerc @ Sep 28th 2008 11:27PM
yeah.. because he couldn't have meant purchase the magazine.
lorddshadow @ Sep 28th 2008 6:29PM
my subscription is definitely paying off!
NightHawk @ Sep 28th 2008 8:56PM
you and me both brother :)
Tim Parsons @ Sep 28th 2008 9:52PM
you noticed that in Official Playstation Magazine and yes they've done it every month(since Qore came out)
I subcribe to it and always end up giving the Code away online. Cuz i'm a Annual subcriber to both the Mag and Qore Anyway, and I dont have pateince so I want Qore when it's release not the follow month. and besides the mag is twice the price of a Qore episode mind you you'd be getting both
Nutmeg @ Sep 28th 2008 10:09PM
ridiculous. paying 25 dollars for some content that should be free when you can put that toward the actual game? no thanks.
Packfan @ Sep 28th 2008 10:32PM
Well, the annoying woman has to get paid SOMEHOW you know...
Nothing in this world is "free". Just be happy we don't have to pay $50 a year to play online and get demos in general.
Nutmeg @ Sep 28th 2008 10:57PM
oh, i know what you're saying makes sense, but I'm very cheap. . . . or rather, i'm very picky about what i spend money on most of the time. i do appreciate ps3's free online interactivity, so i'm not hating.
Kodros @ Sep 29th 2008 2:35AM
"ridiculous. paying 25 dollars for some content that should be free "
Please tell me how all of the content of Qore should be free? What other service gives you this for free?
If you are referring to the demo, Qore is simply getting it before it comes out on PSN. What's the problem?
_sean_ @ Sep 29th 2008 2:37AM
People crying over $2.99 are just looking for something to cry about.
You pay $3 to rent a movie, right?
I pick and choose which Qores I buy. A demo I want can easily be worth the $3 if I get a few hrs. of playtime out of it, not to mention it has video coverage too. The Qore vids are really high quality, even better than 'HD' online vids like gametrailers.
Vincent @ Sep 29th 2008 10:48AM
Am I the only one who likes Qore for its video-magazine content and finds the demos/betas to be just an extra?
bAssackwards @ Sep 29th 2008 9:24PM
That's no fair! Don't they know I've been waiting for that game for forever now?! I might have to buy Qore that month just for a little taste.
