LittleBigPlanet beta keys now available on the PlayStation Blog

Are you fast enough? There are 50 LittleBigPlanet beta keys available for those of you who email the PlayStation Blog and ask for them. The announcement is hidden at the bottom of this post about the reader meetup in Orlando last Friday. Seems like a good time was had by all, as they all left with LittleBigPlanet beta keys, and other prizes. Wait, where are you going? Alright, alright, we understand. Good luck trying to get those keys!

[UPDATE] Wow, that didn't take long. They're all gone. There may be other opportunities to get a key in the future, we'll keep you posted.

I wish Gamespot would hurry up with those beta keys, the beta ends October 11th or 12th can't remember which date and i want to get in as much LBP as i can before it ends

Well this was mean i just on that a minute ago, and apperently the sever is to busy or crashed on the littlebigplanet.us.playstation.com, ugh you would think the people desperately trying to get keys have gotten them so far and left space for the people who get news a little late and try to get one, by this rate i'll never get one :(

the sent out 1000 keys on the little big planet site for the first 1000 comments i was one of the lucky ones and was the 25 comment wich succures a spot 4 me finaly im lucky in somthing :D

I was in the 50 range I think. I had been refreshing that site every 10-15 minutes for awhile and then during my break every few minutes and it finally paid off.

Too bad the beta ends on the 11th.

I hope I get it....I was on the littlebigplanet.us.playstation.com all day waiting and commenting...than decided to play abit of WipeoutHD...I went back later and found out the first 1000 comments on a page will get the beta code, I was the 1012 comment =( Im soo pissed over that....what more do I have to do to get a beta? Ive already spent about £120 on the PSN this year alone and playing all games everyday for hours =(

This is absolutely ridiculous...

...I try to get into betas whenever I can. But never in my life have I wanted into a beta so bad that I would try anything and everything to get a beta key.

I tried the Gamespot thing, I tried the Eurogamer thing, I even tried that little website for adult gamers...and now this...I've been so soured by how difficult it has been to even get a key for this beta, that I almost don't even want to play LBP anymore...and thats saying a lot, because before this day, I would have sold every possession and every ounce of dignity I have to play this game. Living in Canada, I get exactly 0 chances to check out games early at conventions or try things out before they come to retail...

...if anyone from Media molecule reads these blogs, you need to make more keys available, more than just 10 or 50 at a time. Otherwise, only the people who stalk the internet 24 hours a day are going to get them. Which is the exact opposite of fair. You need to take into account the activity of the user.

Is it fair if someone who plays 1 hour per week gets a key? As opposed to someone who would play for 10 - 20 hour per week? These thigns need to be taken into account...take a cue from the Home beta people. They want people who use their playstations in the beta, not just anybody who submits an email in the next 20 seconds.
