Valkyria Chronicles DLC lets you play as the bad guys

Although Valkyria Chronicles isn't out in America yet, it's been getting some DLC support in Japan. The second installment of DLC from Sega is pretty cool: it lets you play as Selvaria, as you try to invade Galiia. If you didn't notice, that means you're doing the exact opposite of what the main campaign focuses on. The DLC will feature voice acting, new story sequences, and a whole new set of battles. The DLC will retail for 800 yen in Japan. Most likely, the American version of Valkyria Chronicles will feature the same post-launch DLC as its Japanese counterpart.

I think the game looks great. Im just not sure about the turn base gameplay. Never was big on turn base games. But who knows this maybe the game that changes that.

For me it's the exact opposite; I will be buying it just because it's turn-based. The rest is just icing on the cake.

Yep. The impressions and reviews have all been quite favorable. I have no doubt this game will be great... for SRPG fans at any rate.

So, valkyrie chronicles seems pretty cool, and it's seems rather awesome that you could play with the other army. Looking foward too.

I really enjoyed FF:Tactics and Advance Wars so this is going to be awesome. Also the cel shading look very cool.

For 800Yen they'll probably sell it for $10 in the PSN store. But I think letting you control a whole new set of units and a new story line is well worth the price.

Sub-Jawsome for me because I don't have a JPN PSN card although I do have the game and a JPN PSN account :(
