LittleBigPlanet beta codes from GameTrailers and G4

We know many of you are looking for LittleBigPlanet beta codes, which can be a frustrating process at times, but do keep in mind the game comes out October 21st, less than a month away. Pretty soon, we'll all get to experience LBP for ourselves. With that said, two more sites have revealed how you can get your hands on these highly-desired codes.

G4's method is simple. You just have to fill out this form here any time from now until October 2nd, then cross your fingers. A random drawing will occur on October 3rd and 2,000 codes will be awarded to the winners.

GameTrailer's method is also rather simple ... for now. Register for their site and you can view their current newsletter here. That isn't the newsletter with the information you want though -- ~~we are assuming~~ the link to Thursday's newsletter is here (the link doesn't work yet) and more details will surface at that time. If you let someone play a game that you own on a different account, then your file gets locked for 24 hours. LBP is a mostly-online game, so sharing it wasn't to your benefit at all.

AHH! I hope i get the beta, I've applied for the GameSpot, Xplay, G4, GT, GamePro, and Eurogamers ones.

Here's hoping that i get at least one!

and to the guy that shared the codes, you get locked out for 24 hours if you choose to share the code

Screw it, Im not jumping through anymore hoops for a stupid code. They are going to make people start resenting this game if they keep this lottery crap up.

The joke isnt funny anymore. This may have been a good idea to generate interest in the game and get people excited but they pushed it too far and people are starting to get pissed.

I was LUCKY enuff 2 get the beta key from1UP's contest. I had just signed up for the G4 thing when I got my email. Thanks to PS3Fanboy for the heads up on ALL the beta give aways by the way. Much appreciated

Actually, if you go under the CPanel -> My Account-> Preferences

There's a radio button at the very bottom of the page that you select to receive the newsletter. Just thought I'd share.

If they would have did it through Qore they would have changed it at the last minute to sending out emails (see SOCOM beta). That didn't go so well either.

Frankly I can wait, its not a beta to test the software its to test their network using "old" software its not even a beta or demo of the "gold code" so why the excitement to play a beta that well really isn't a beta it's a test.

well i am done with this, trying to get in, i have tried every way i could and haven't gotten even 1 invite :( so unless an easier way appears to get in before the 11th comes then i'll try, but otherwise i'm done trying for now, i wanted to get into it though to see how it was but now it seems a little pointless to get in since the beta ends on the 11th :(

they should have released a demo or an open beta because this way to get in is just too hard and stressful...

Its possible to share by giving someone your PSN login info (including password), then they can download anything you downloaded free (up to 5 machines)
I do this w/ friends that i trust b/c otherwise people could use my CC on file and buy more games, or muck w/ my friends.
also im saving 1 or 2 of the 5 for when i get a 2nd ps3 or if this one dies or something.
so i doubt you'll have much luck, (i dont have that game anyway) however if you wanted to give me your code for that info i'll take it off your hands :)

Just got emailed my code from the LBP news site. I was post 2567 and they gave out 2000 codes, so people DEFINATELY double posted.

dammit, i was checking the link ps3fanboy put up! It still hasn't been officially linked yet by gametrailers.
I still PM'd him, im having the worst luck since i have to actually code/work here and there.

its funny if you look at http://www.gametrailers.com/newsletter/
you get a 3 year old newsletter. "Sony promises PS3 in spring of 06!"
etc.
