More LittleBigPlanet beta codes from 1UP and GamePro

Missed out on some of the LittleBigPlanet beta code giveaways from yesterday? Fear not, for there's more to come courtesy of 1UP and GamePro.

For the next three days (today, Wednesday and Thursday), 1UP will be giving out 500 codes per day. First, you have to register with them if you haven't done so already. Next, check their LBP minisite for their question of the day. Once you figure out the answer, head over to Sack_Boy_1UP's page and send him a private message with your answer. The first 500 people who send in the correct answer will receive a beta code.

GamePro has 1,250 codes to be given away on Wednesday, October 1st. You must also register with GamePro in order to enter their contest. When Wednesday arrives, check this page out and enter your information for a chance to win. Don't enter your information till Wednesday though, the current page is for Monday's contest. Winners will be notified on October 2nd.

Ugh. I want to enter the GP one, but I need to register first. And for some reason, the captcha that I need to enter never shows up, stopping me from registering. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I had the issue where there wasn't even a text entry box for the captcha image, but I finally registered a few hours ago, they simply did away with the captcha interface altogether.

Um can't you guys read and follow directions the answer Nick is for the last contest. You have to wait until tomorrow when they do a new contest to get a code. Plus the site is busted and rigged. You can't even register for the site. I've been trying to for the past two days on gamepro.

What kind of monkeys do they have working at GamePro anyhow? How hard is it to either enable the CAPTCHA or just disable the stupid thing all together?? Have they not noticed they haven't had *any* new registrations for the past could of days? So long as they get those ad views I suppose from people trying 100x a piece.

I've been feeling that way since the stupid Gamespot show with the terrible instructions and whiny girl.

Sure, the beta might be cool and all but it's an old build and the game drops in a few weeks. I think they're just 'beta'-ing the game to get a decent bucket of user generated content for launch.

Why not just open beta dammit. They're giving almost enough way.
This just encourages scouts to steal as many as they can and make a quick $100 on Ebay.

I've given up on beta codes for this game. I sent two e-mails into Gamespot form different emails and I sent one to IGN the day of their contest. I've yet to receive a reply from either.

Ugh, forget the beta. It's too much of a hassle just to play with an unfinished product. October 21 isn't THAT far away anyway. I love LBP just as much as the next guy, but I can be patient. Plus, I'd rather have my first experience with it be the full version that was originally intended. I'm still not exactly sure how you control the gameplay in the game yet, and I kind of want to keep that a surprise for the moment.
