Wasn't Hudson Entertainment blasting the PS3 a few months back for being too difficult to program to be worth investing money in a game for the PSN?
Guess they are singing a different tune.

Well, most likely this is a port of the XBLA game, and since Backbone developed that one, and they have a lot of experience on the PS3......
Still, I'm all over this at release.
Also, I'm in the process of setting-up an interview with Hudson USA for the Podcast. We should have a date soon.

FINALLY. I haven't played a decent Bomberman game since that last one on the ps2 that didn't have enough maps.

About time! (Assuming it's a decent piece of work and not something crappy). After having tried this on a friend's Xbox 360, I was really hoping this would make it to the PS3.

Why only 4 players localy though?
There's not enough love for local multiplayer these days...

oh yes!!! its all about bomberman lol thats some good news coz i luv bomberman!! something else to be eager for!
matahtak @ Oct 1st 2008 6:12PM
Only 4 player local? I kick it 5 with my RetroDuo and Super Bomberman 3/5... and that's designed with an external multitap. How hard is it for a console with native 7 controller support?
I guess we'll get more player support for Bomberman Ultra 2. Or Super Bomberman Ultra... whichever title they'll use.
Don't mind me, I'm a Bomerman fanatic as well and will buy this the second it's released, but wouldn't mind a little more for this release.

Mr Hudson, Adventure Island please.
chowley @ Oct 1st 2008 8:56PM
oh god orgasm! if they make a balls of this its the end of gaming :P
immikeulate @ Oct 5th 2008 5:48AM
"Trophies? We're hoping so." Thats the only reason i'd buy this game. Trophies are must haves for downloadble games.

Why can't Hudson make more games with the Saturn Bomberman formula? That's what this world needs most. That game had incredible multiplayer and two different types of single-player campaigns. The maps had incredible variation, cool power-ups, I could go on forever. I would rather see a port/update of that more than anything else. Trust me, it's that good.
