PixelJunk Eden soundtrack available for download tomorrow

Sometimes one interview just isn't enough! PlayStation.Blog has posted yet another interview with the artist that brought you the music in PixelJunk Eden. The guy's name is Baiyon and he also served as the art director for the game. As a bonus, the director of the game Tominaga "Tomi" Shouichi will also be included in the interview. The guys tell you about their favorite music, their influences and even who at Q-Games resembles a little Grimp. Find out the answers to all of that and more by reading the full interview here.
Lastly, the PixelJunk Eden soundtrack will be available for download on the PSN store for $2.99 beginning tomorrow, October 2nd. The soundtrack is going for much, much more on Amazon and Play-Asia right now, so if you enjoy the game's music, this is a great buy.

I wonder what format it will be on PSN. If its protected, I will go for the expensive Amazon purchase. Give me MP3 or Death!
Think Adrian @ Oct 1st 2008 6:27PM
cake or death?
Josh @ Oct 1st 2008 6:35PM
Go with Play-Asia...Or CDJapan, or whatever. Amazon's overpriced.
Nathan @ Oct 1st 2008 7:06PM
It's MP3 with no DRM. Check the comments on the PS blog site.

I want to buy this just so I can play WipEout HD to it! Rock on! Damn the guy above me beat me to it! This is probably a dumb question, but any word as to what format the downloadable album will be? Can I copy this to my PC/iPod?
Nathan @ Oct 1st 2008 7:05PM
It is in MP3 format with no DRM, so yes you can copy to iPod or any other MP3 player or PC, phone etc.
iamkid @ Oct 1st 2008 6:27PM
wow, whats up with the expensive-ness of the others?

dabamf @ Oct 1st 2008 6:30PM
When I want to feel stressed out about getting all the seeds within the time limit, I'll listen.
Jerses @ Oct 1st 2008 6:34PM
Music of eden is annoying after 10 minutes of just hearing 20 sec beat loop all over and over... Also...come on!!! $2.99 to download songs that you already hear like hundred times in the $9.99 game!? i wont pay 1/3 for the music ... i would pay for them to add custome soundtrack without having to finish the game.

Thanks for the spoiler.
Think Adrian @ Oct 2nd 2008 6:53PM
Well, this kind of electronic music doesn't fit everyone. BTW, the tracks are several minutes long, so they aren't loops per se ;)
bennayd @ Oct 1st 2008 7:15PM
so stoked!
tynitty @ Oct 1st 2008 7:22PM
Damn you two!! I wanted to say the witty comment of playing wipeout with it. Thats gonna be dope as hell though. Soundtrack is a must buy.
John @ Oct 1st 2008 9:22PM
I'll buy it ASAP. My friend got far enough in this game for me to hear the music, I'm buying it to play with Wipeout HD!
