Hehe all the games I was going to trade are getting trophy patches. Now if only they would patch MGS4, the one game I DONT want to trade, I would be happy.

I thought they had officially declared that there would be no PS3 trophy support for GTA. Hmm, not sure if I want to start playing it again anyway, but its a nice gesture from Rockstar.

Really glad I stopped playing this after the third or fourth mission because of the million other (superior) games I had to get through. Now when I finally get to it, there should be that glorious added bonus of trophies!

I'm looking forward to replaying the game too, but I'll save it for when I upgrade to the PC version assuming they don't screw it up too much with Games for Windows Live. I'm quite used to having to rebuy GTA games after playing them on playstations, but I miss the good old days when they came out on PC and got crappy console ports instead of vice versa.

I'm somewhat amazed that nobody has even questioned the legitimacy of these trophies yet, have we heard anything officially from Rockstar about this? Last I knew, they stated that they weren't going to support trophies.

We've heard from ps3trophies. Their whole setup is dedicated to asking developers about trophies, and relaying the information to the rest of us. They're trying hard to get better recognised, and although they could have made these all up, it's really in their best interest not to have.

Possibly, look at how the descriptions are worded

"Key To The City -- You completed GTA IV to 100%.

rather than "complete 100% of GTA IV"

NO desire to play this game over again. (Something I can't say the same for with the other GTAs)
There's absolutely no reason to go through it again. (unless you count trophies as a reason) This GTA had no replay value in my eyes.
Good game...no replay value, and 200+ pigeons.....f that.

well since your PSN ID can be linked to the GTA social Club site I'm hoping that trophies will be retroactive and not have to play this game all over again. Its just too much to ask to go back and find all those damn pigeons again.

Screw trophies...

When will they release a patch that fixes multiplayer? It's been out since April and it's still buggy as hell.

Known and easily reproducible bugs for me:

-Voice chat for me and my friends stop most of the time whenever we go back to the lobby. Only quitting and restarting multiplayer mode.

-Usually once an hour, I get kicked from a game that my friends started and when my buddies invited me back, it wouldn't even let me back into the game (said it couldn't let me into a game I was kicked from, even though I wasn't kicked- it also happens to my friends as well). Even restarted the PS3... couldn't rejoin that game. Weird.

-I got advanced to Level 4 on multiplayer, and game froze. Restarted, and brought me back to 0. Not really major (don't care about personal "levels"), but I noticed a lot of good level 0 and level 1 players lately, probably for that reason.

Is this 360 version this bad?

When ever your chat cuts out going to and from the lobby, just turn your headset off then on. Works for me every time.

I've seen both versions of GTAIV and I can without a doubt say that both versions play the same multiplayer-wise. PSN has nothing to do with this. It's Rockstar. Also, the PS3 version doesn't suffer from as much loading or pop-in's like the 360 version does.

That sorta happens with me, actually. When I start, first time I log on if I haven't lounged in Single Player for a bit shows me at '0' and the stats "catch up" after a couple of games.

The first multiplayer game per session also has a nasty habit of - or at least it seems like it - kicking everyone ELSE off and leaving just me as the "only player remaining."
