Rock Band DLC brings on The Offspring, and more

This week's Rock Band DLC consists of three tracks from The Offspring, including the hilarious 90s hit, Pretty Fly (For a White Guy). They can also be purchased together in the Offspring Track Pack for $5.49:

"Gone Away"
"Pretty Fly"
"Self Esteem"

We are also getting six different tracks from six different artists, and they are as follows:

"Stop!" -- Against Me!
"All Right Now" -- Free
"Bad to the Bone" -- George Thorogood
"Cream & Bastards Rise" -- Harvey Danger
"Nearly Lost You" -- Screaming Trees
"Push It" -- Static-X

Each of the above ~~eight~~ nine tracks can be purchased individually for $1.99. All of them will be available on the PS Store beginning Thursday, October 9th.

Self esteem is a good song but i don't really thing it was a good choice for rock band, maybe something a little more up beat like smash would of been a better choice.

I see 9 tracks (even though the text says 8) and aparently they are 1.99$ a piece...and I see one says "free". It's seems that is the name of the band, and is not free, but they say that there is 8 tracks for purchase.

So does that mean the song by the band name "free" is actually "free"?

Did I confuse anybody yet? Because I am.

been waiting for some static-x myself. didnt actually think HMX would consider some S-X with soooo many songs to chart for the 500 holiday mark. Hoping HMX would put some songs from the Wisconsin Deathtrip or Machine album :D

Looks like someone is gonna be buying a lot of songs this week. More Offspring is something I'll been begging for since Rock Band came out. Most of everything else such as Nine Inch Nails the awesome Rock Band crew have delivered on. As for the rest of the songs, looks like I'll be buying most of them as well. Some great rock classics as well as Static-X-Push It. I hope that's as fun to play on the drums and guitar as it the song sounds.
