WRUP: What are you playing?

WRUP is fitting in nicely with our community and we're thinking it's here to stay. With this being the weekend right before the Tokyo Game Show, don't be surprised if we're not going to be playing much. You guys on the other hand, feel free to tell us all the cool titles you'll be spending time with.

Alan Tsang - In addition to trying to work through the Cross Edge/X-Edge demo, I'll be trying out LittleBigPlanet, cause you know, I FINALLY got a beta code after trying to obtain one from 4 different sources. I am tempted to purchase Silent Hill: Homecoming as well, but only because I will buy anything Silent Hill related. Just kidding! I really want to keep an open mind about that game, despite the so-so reviews.
Andrew Yoon - I'm off to Kyoto to hang out with Dylan Cuthbert and the Q-Games team. Then, it's off to Tokyo -- see you guys for our TGS coverage!
Jem Alexander - Nothing. My consoles are all back at Uni. I've returned home to prepare for my trip to Japan, so if I do any gaming it'll be finishing off Crisis Core on PSP and Final Fantasy Tactics A2 on DS. Thankfully, when I get back from Japan Dead Space will be waiting for me. You probably won't hear from me for a little while after that ...
Majed Athab - In between packing for Tokyo and making sure I've got everything in order for my trip, I'll still be making time for some gaming. I did make sure that I finished that BioShock demo before the weekend, and of course I'm going to try and squeeze in some WipEout HD. I've also snagged a copy of AWAY: Shuffle Dungeon for the DS which I need to play. Then there's the business of that LittleBigPlanet beta everyone's been stabbing each other to get into ... haven't tried it out yet.

Either way, I'm so happy. I've also been playing Burnout and Wipeout, Wipeout like MAD though.

And FFVI, of course :)

Well I got in 3 times, lol. Gave the two extra codes to my friends. I applied on 3 sites and 2 days later I get 3 codes in my email. Just luck I guess.

AND I just got a HOME beta code. W00t!

Just got my PS3...w00t! So, I'll be on the Bioshock demo this weekend, playing Burnout Paradise for the first time, and hitting up some Warhawk. Having fun with the latter two, so far!

well seeing how i have been trying all week
and trying multiple sites ..game pro.. stayed up till 3pm..

and i have done unspeakable things to try and get into
this beta! ... and then yesterday..

i went to ps blog (on my smartphone.. during work)

and i sent them an email and i received
an email from the ps blog saying you made it in!!
i was exstatic!!!

plus i beat the euro gamer bionic comando challange a month ago..was like the 3rd person on ps3 to

do it... and i sent in a pic to them and then he sent me an message saying unfortunatly you were just a little

late im all outta prizes ... i did however come across an extra copy of face breaker you can have that if you want..

and that finally came in the mail yesterday .. in
authentic play station 3 wrapping.. like how you unwrap a pack of smokes.. soo i think i will be playing that too..

Sorry, I've used my code already; I just haven't been playing it. There are some people who are getting multiple codes (from applying to multiple giveaways) and are planning to give away their excess. Hopefully someone with an extra code will come by and help ya out!

Haha, I have tried to get into the beta on EVERY single site that has given them out.

I sent in my Gamespot answer within 1 min of the question being asked... did I get a key NO!!!

I want one soo bad! I can't seem to get lucky :(

I Am Trying For My Last Trophy On Burnout Paradise ( Bike License 100% ) and then i am going to be trying out ( for the first time ) Shadow Of The Colossus and see what that is like. and if that doesn't take me long to complete then i'l have to find another game to Dive into till Saints Row 2 is out. but i will not go back to try and completing Genji: Days Of The Blade

No, unfortunately, the Japanese version of Cross Edge doesn't contain an English translation. Hopefully the rumor going around that the game is headed stateside proves to be true.

I'll basically be playing what I played the last time you asked. Disgaea 3 baby.got my friend to buy it and he loves it.

Damn you all who have LBP beta codes. I want one so bad. I guess I'll just have to wait for the full game.

Bioshock, mercanaries, fracture (the latter two I enjoy quite a bit), and eternal sonata demos. Played all but Bioshock so far.i ts still dlin

Thanks ps3fanboy! B/c of your tips, I ended up filling in the GT t.v. form, and awoke today to find a code in my inbox. =D

Too many games to play. This is the last weekend of the Socom beta, which I've played all of 5 minutes of a few weeks ago. Silent Hill Homecoming, I picked up on release day. Metal Gear Online. Single player on BF: BC. Plus I still have Siren that I downloaded over a month ago....etc etc. O_o

I really enjoyed the Brothers in Arms Demo. I want to grab that too. The Bioshock demo plays exactly like the 360 version, I may just wait on that one until it goes on sale.
