Maybe I'll feel different after hearing the song, but right now, after hearing the Portal theme as often as I have, it seems like making another song for a popular video game released only a year apart with the same name might be poor judgment.
But it's probably nothing more than a coinicidence and nothing to worry oneself over...

So much "Still Alive", you'd think I'd be interested...

For some reason, I'm not that excited about this title.
That may change if I start to hear good things about it.

There are definitely some juggernauts of the remix industry in there. It would have been great to see some of their own music attached to game though, remixing one song feels a bit more like a glorified single than an epic electronic soundtrack like WipeOut XL/2097 managed to pull off.
Quest @ Oct 8th 2008 4:55AM
Nate! I am not near my PS3 for a few more hours . . . id it still available?
fiziks @ Oct 8th 2008 11:18AM
lolol

This wouldn't happen to be the same song that is heard at the end of the first teaser trailer that was released at E3 would it? Sign me up if it is!! That song was catchy.

They couldn't have picked a crappier line-up of DJ/Producers. Freerunning to horrible trance tunes. Suckage.
dustandechoes91 @ Oct 8th 2008 6:57PM
They are the best choices for trance. Breakbeat stuff would have been a better choice though.
Ajora @ Oct 8th 2008 4:29PM
This is great news! I'm SO looking forward to this game! I have"Faith" in Mirror's Edge, and that tune...I can't get it out of my head!
dustandechoes91 @ Oct 8th 2008 6:56PM
Wow those are some pretty big names. Not surprised its ea though. If only they had some Tiesto....
RedSonRising @ Oct 9th 2008 12:29PM
im very glad they are finally releasing this, lots of ppl have been harassing DICE on their M.E. forums about this song... ive been listening to a ripoff by Alcorus called Shine for a while now but now i dont have to..
benny boy @ Oct 11th 2008 6:31PM
This song was the thing that actually got me interested in Mirror's Edge in the first place.
Richard @ Nov 12th 2008 6:37PM
Funny - I also got interested in it because of the wonderful ambience suggested by the music. Lovely! And now I'm playing the time trial demos over and over - seems the game play is as enticing as the music! :) I can't wait!

Armand Van Helden and Paul van Dyk?! I'm gonna get that for sure
