Japan gets Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet 80GB bundles

The second bundle will be known as the "PlayStation 3 LittleBigPlanet Dream Box" and will obviously include LittleBigPlanet along with an 80GB (in either black, silver or white) and two DualShock 3s. The box will also be covered in artwork of Sackboy. The Japanese will be able to pick this up for 44,980 yen (450/€329). LittleBigPlanet will also be bundled with DualShock 3 controllers, saving customers almost $35 in comparison to purchasing the items separately. Early copies of the game will come with a code to download an Ape Escape monkey costume. Hopefully, this isn't the extent of Sony's announcements at TGS tomorrow. We'll be there to bring you any interesting info from the show.

Again, it would be very foolish to not have a Little Big Planet Bundle here in North America. I've seen and heard of so many people that are going to buy a Playstation 3 just because of this game.
And why does Japan get to have white and silver PS3 options? I love my black n' chrome 60 GB but it leaves visible fingerprints. Silver would do it for me.

they won't. apparently it costs too much money to put in BC. they'll say they want to concentrate on the PS3 only, but they really just want to sell as many PS2s they can.
in other words, why spend the money putting BC in a PS3 when there is a perfectly good $120 PS2 just a shelf away?
i say, good strategy to screw the consumer who wants to play both PS2 and PS3 games!

I got a launch PS3 and BC was huge because of the software lineup at the time.
Nowadays I rarely if ever use the BC on my ps3.
I'm willing of sell my launch 60 gb, BC, PS3 for $800.00 if anyone is interested. I completely understand if your not though.

I have the 80 gig motorstorm bundle Ps3 i rarely play ps2 games so the BC doesn't bother me a bit just pick up a ps2 for 130.Gets you a upscale dvd player and tons of games to buy.

There are too many good games now releasing that bc is not a concern of mine anymore.
And I have tried to read as much as I can about LBP and I still cannot for the life of me see the big deal????
So LBP is just a platformer style game that anyone can design levels for? So is the fun in playing or making stuff?

Maybe if Sony bundled an Xbox 360 in the box, they would have better luck in the US. Considering the track record of the PS1 and PS2, the PS3 sales are abysmal.
