You got Metal Gear and Final Fantasy in my LittleBigPlanet

Sony has announced that two new LittleBigPlanet costumes will be made available for download in the future. Metal Gear Solid's Old Snake and Final Fantasy VII's Sephiroth have been stripped and their clothes donated to the LittleBigPlanet thrift store. Unfortunately, there's no word on when they will be made available, or whether they'll be paid-for content. There's also no definite answer to whether they'll be available outside of Japan but, considering both games have large fanbases in the US and Europe, we'd be surprised if they didn't. Check out Sephiroth's Tokyo Game Show unveiling above and Old Snake's after the break.

Aren't they cute?

I may be wrong but this could be free for everyone OR just for these dudes in the 1st week of release.. each continent may get there own unique free sackboy or sackgirl available to download.. if you get the game after the 1st week it'll be over.. so im not missing these and will look forward to the goodies that will be downloadable for the we were 1st in the 1st week of release!! but.. i wouldnt mind these as well as the astronaut and the T-shirt sackboy (UK here). Fingers crossed.

Loving the Old Snake Sackboy. Looks brilliant!

On the topic of MGS. I made a level on LBP called Metal Gear Solid: Return to Shadow Moses. It's okay. I made it for nolstagia and it worked relatively well.

I found a video of it on youtube as well. I didn't record it though so I'm not apologising for poor quality! I shant! NEVER!

If I were you, I'd lay some explosives with proximity switches at the end. That'll simulate claymores. If you use tough materials like stone or steel your environment will survive the explosions.

Overall a cool level but I see room for improvement!

I completely agree. It was a bit of a rush job. After numerous corrupt saves I just wanted to get something out there for people to try out.

Needless to say - once the full game released, I'm going to be quite the insomniac! :D

As great as these are, I wonder if all the special costumes (Kratos and Nariko too!) are going to be pre-fab "convenience" costumes that you can also create in game if you had the time or skill...or will they be limited edition costumes you can't get anywhere else.

I ask because I was planning to create a sackboy!Chopin and a sackboy!Altair if I get this game.
