We probably don't need to say too much about this game. It's only about a month away, but this new trailer still amazes us. Strangely, it will be available in the US before Japan even gets it. Why? It doesn't have a release date here.

Short but sweet. The PS3's architecture is clearly being used for graphical on screen orgy goodness. Yey to exclusives that make use of the SPE's. Can't wait for this.

that might be because Naruto has new content to exploit the wallets... DBZ has a fixed story.. you can only retell it so many times before it feels like youre getting ripped off.
I think this might be something I pick up when it hits 30-40$ in the used pile. demo was quite fun.

do you mean, 'there'? because it comes out november 4th in US...also japan doesn't seem to be getting it first because it's not a major deal, in japan they're way past the story arcs that are being played through in this game.

Yeah. The PS2 versions storyline is way past this in Japan. The last PS2 game was maybe the best one of them all and the characters in that one were top notch also. I still need to get a swap disc so i can play it on my ps2.

Seriously, this game is going to be fucking fantastic. If you're a fan of anime and you've never given Naruto a chance because you flipped by it on CN, please, download the Japanese version, watch the first 20 episodes, and you'll understand what's so awesome about this show and the characters in it. If you don't like anime, put your guard down and enjoy a beautiful fighting game.

The show is terrible (imo). The episodes are waaay drawn and too soap opera-y. I wouldn't be recommending it to anyone over the age of 15. If you want to enjoy the truly interesting characters and plot of Naruto, read the manga. :p

There are plenty of drawn out episodes, that really shouldnt be 10 episodes when it could be told in 4. I agree. But if you can look past that, its biggest flaw, it's a fun story, with really fun characters.

27 here and I watch the show. The current seasons are drawn out crap until Shippuden hits, at which point it gets good again, so I've read the manga to the latest issues and watch the japenese versions when they hit the web too. Even my girlfriend watches the english episodes when they come out. you are a dip, dip. keep your opinions to yourself.

What? I think the english voice actors do a fantastic job. I'm collecting all the uncut dvds and the voices sound appropriate according to their characters personalities. But I guess you get accustom to whatever you hear first.

Gonna wait until I can find it for around $30 but I definitely plan on picking this up. I hate the anime and while the manga is pretty good I haven't read it in awhile. But this game looks great whether you're into Naruto or not.

This game is out of date, the story is already gone far away since Naruto is a kid. And believe me this game is going to be short if you guys have seen the story know what I mean.
I will rather wait until there's a game for Naruto Shippuuden. Oh by the way the anime is back on story and it not on fillers

The anime isn't back to the story in the States. We're only on episode 202 or so and Shippuden doesn't start until about 220. We don't even know when Shippuden will start airing, as far as I know. But thats only for people who aren't up to date with the manga over in Japan, I wonder if chapter 420 is out yet.

The demo version, when I played it, was sadly plagued by jaggy character models. Have they corrected this for the full release?

Also, I'm a little worried about the gameplay in this game. Based on the demo, it felt too shallow; Clash of Ninja has quite a bit more depth than this...Though I hope to be proven wrong when the full Ultimate Ninja Storm is released...

I don't care what anyone says but this has to be top 5 best looking game ever, because its so true to its source if not better. Now I'm hoping for a new wave of great looking cell shaded games... better yet, they should the game engine to make the anime.

The xb360 wasn't bad but story wise it was just a hdaful of clips from the show insterted here and there and the boss fight sucked.
Hopefully thisone will be a better,tho' the xb360 version wasn't bad.

I mean in Japan Naruto Shippuden has already started and has been in filler and now it back on story, as far as I concern the latest episode is Naruto Shippuden 77.
That is why this game will not sell well in Japan because it kind of out of dated, but it will sell well in the US
