TGS 08: Full Square Enix Closed Theater impressions

Ah, the Square Enix Mega Theater. It's always something to look forward to at every TGS. We took the time to check out the theater and see what's cooking behind those big, black walls. Square Enix showed off trailers for nine games and a film in the Mega Theater, including two PS3 titles, the Advent Children Complete movie, and four PSP titles. not interested in any of those games...but why would they make so many different KH games? Why not just make one and have it be multiplat...seems like a lot of effort for no real pay off. I guess it's just because they know people will buy all of them but at the same time it doesn't seem worth it.

Um, different games on multiple platforms will sell more than one game on multiple platforms. Think about it for a minute...

Yeah... but look at the bright side, the only one staying true to the original storyline is the PSS one (Birth By Sleep) that tells the story BEFORE sora, the original keyblade masters. The cellphone and DS ones are just silly side stories...

Also, that limited edition Metal Gear Solid watch should be arriving soon, just in time for halloween.............guess who i'm going as!

You're not intrested in FF XIII, FF Versus XIII, FF XIII Agito, FF Dissida, Parasite Eve?

I can understand the lack of intrest aginst KH games because of the disney characters, but the rest ... ? o_o

nope not interested in any of them. Don't like FF and don't like KH....never got into them at all. Parasite Eve, the first one looked cool but never played it and don't plan on getting into it now.

two Ps3 games..hmm you means FF13 and Versus? Square hasn't done anything good for the Ps3 fans. I feel Square has turned into Rare. Great company for last generation who hasn't kept up with the time.

He never really said they were bad games. he just said he's not interested in SE games, but he's interested in other good games =p

I can see why certain ppl dont like squares games, they dont like story driven or patient paced games as much as others do. but just like sony, square isnt thinking about today they're thinking about tomorrow. theyve got some really big story driven titles (not counting dissidia) coming up and there working on them all at the same time to make these games the best they can be, these titles make up for square doing nothing for the ps3 so far. yeah FFXIII is going to 360 also and theyve got one for the ds, but the rest is all sony. but the only to see now is the quality of each title they release..

Honestly, all Square Enix does these days is make movies and trailers, they should get out of the gaming industry.
