Rumor: Bioshock PS3 includes 'Bioshock 2: Sea Of Dreams' teaser
BioShock snuck onto shelves this week, despite being previously scheduled for an October 24th release in Europe. As a result, some people have now beat the game which, apparently, unlocks a teaser trailer for BioShock 2: Sea Of Dreams. One N4G user has taken a few snapshots and will be uploading a video of the 15-second teaser soon. The snap shots show what appears to be a Little Sister, all grown up, standing on the shore with a Big Daddy plushy dangling from her hand.
This all seems true enough, but we've contacted 2K Games in order to get a statement, just in case. We'll let you know what they say. In the mean time, take a look at the screenshots and video listed on N4G. Look real to you?

Can anyone confirm if the street date is broken in the U.S.? I wouldn't mind revisiting Rapture on my PS3 (the experience on my underperforming PC was a bit of a let down)

No, it was whether the game was coming to PS3 or not that was the rumour considering how later the first game came out. We already know Bioshock 2 exists, heck we already know Bioshock 3 will exist, but I think little or noone knows whether it would be multiplat release, timed release or exclusive to 360.
However, after seeing that trailer at the end, I think we can just about cross off the third option mentioned.

so it takes place above the ocean maybe? like an oil rig type utopia? at least that's what i got from this. i was hoping it would take place on a more tropical island like LOST. maybe it's a man made island?
the first one fell into this 'loot, shoot, repeat and sometimes Hack' formula which i got bored of halfway through. oh and the end boss sucked.
anyway, i hope it gives us more Metroid/Resident Evil puzzles and more incentive to use all our plasmids.

Since it's called Ocean of Dreams I would say that hints strongly at a prequel, you probably play someone entering Rapture while it's still new and then have to survive through the downfall. I wouldn't say that's a grown-up little sister, maybe it's someone who helped design the big daddies? Anyway there's LOTS of speculation to be had :D

I don't understand why this game even needs a sequel. This generation suffers badly from sequel-itis. Games like Condemned ,Dead Rising,and Bioshock had great endings that worked for a single title perfectly. It left mystery to the games. Now,they have to take a game and make a franchise out of it,taking away all the mystery and atmosphere to the single title by making a series out of it.
Here's hoping that Dead Space stays a single title and doesn't get itself run into the ground. Use all that money you make from these games and put it back into the company to make another NEW IP.
NO MORE SEQUELS.

I don't mind sequels as long as they're tastefully done. Resident Evil would've been great, but sad, had it been limited to one game only.
Rumor has it that Bioshock is a triology; I've not seen the interview footage, but this is what some other ppl have mentioned on gamefaqs.com.
This trailer looks legit! yah!....unfortunately it's completely vague.
