Check out this incredibly well-designed LBP user level, after the break.

I played this during the beta. There was also another Mirror's Edge level someone made. Both were very good
playcrackthesky @ Oct 19th 2008 6:44PM
Yeah sweet level, although the song made a reference to molten veins which is against my religion, you can be sure Media Molecule will be hearing from me about this.
That is all.
Lars @ Oct 20th 2008 1:37PM
I played it too. It was fun, but not spectacular. It was actually a really cool looking design, even though it wasn't quite as fun to play. I'd give it a B-
Morisato06 @ Oct 19th 2008 12:14PM
I've played 2 Mirror's Edge levels, this and another very crappy one :P... Anyone remember the name of this level?
centrinoduo91 @ Oct 19th 2008 11:55AM
yeah i played this. there were two parts to it. only problem was that if you fell down the building. sometimes there was no way of getting across again with restarting the whole thing. apart from that. the detail and effort put in was brilliant!
fiziks @ Oct 19th 2008 2:45PM
they should have built the level higher, added buildings below and made the little sackperson perish when he hits the ground... otherwise this level looks incredibly fun to play
centrinoduo91 @ Oct 20th 2008 3:26PM
there was gas at the bottom. i just mean that, for e.g:
they was a zip rope (sponge) and if you grab a hold of it, obviously, it falls. if you die before you get to the next check point, you respawned behind the zip rope, and you coulndt get across.
it's something a lot of levels had a problem with. something to bare in mind ;)
strike @ Oct 19th 2008 11:56AM
Wow
Although it's only a sack, running past white and red boxes, it seems really high paced!
Tristan @ Oct 19th 2008 12:00PM
I copied both of these to my planet during the beta. Definitely two of my favorite levels (Mirror's Edge Part 1 and Mirror's Edge Part 2). It made me even more excited for Mirrors Edge and for LBP.
lorddshadow @ Oct 19th 2008 6:15PM
why is this low ranked?
Kevin @ Oct 19th 2008 9:52PM
How do you guys play now?
The content expired.
freeblue @ Oct 19th 2008 12:23PM
cool, and artsy level. I think the creator should tilt the level a little bit, so there will always be a momentum of moving forward, and it will also make the jump a little bit farer and a little bit seem impossible.
freeblue @ Oct 19th 2008 12:23PM
i disagreed. LBP isnt' just a game you'll enjoy if you only do the play aspect of the game. It's a play aspect and create aspect game. You have to do both to get the full experiences of it. I found myself create, destory and create levels to get just to get them right. Sometimes you do get tired of creating level that jsut doe'st feel right, but that's actualy LBP strenght. When you feel frustrated of creating, you can go into user levels to get some inspiration. Often time while you'er playing some other users' levels, you will think to yourself, oh.. that's how I should create that trap on my level, or how i should make that trigger taht way. That's teh innovation of LBP.. it and your level change and improve as they go along.
HiddenEmerald @ Oct 19th 2008 12:23PM
Well, seeing how everyone seemed to love GTAIV, I'm not too worried. LBP planet looks awesome, and someone else's opinion can't scare me away. I love 2-D platformers, and this game looks awesome. Damn delay.
turkeybaster @ Oct 19th 2008 12:34PM
LBP is one of those games where it can be as good or bad as you want it to be. It doesn't sound like you are:
A) Creative
B) Patient
C) All of the Above
I recommend a first person shooter.
Ted @ Oct 19th 2008 12:38PM
I'm actually skipping R2 to get Fallout 3 and LBP! Every new video I see looks better and better!
Lard @ Oct 19th 2008 12:42PM
Is that sackboy wearing a turban?
iamkid @ Oct 19th 2008 1:34PM
no, im pretty sure its just an orange yellow helmet, like baseball players wear.
lorddshadow @ Oct 19th 2008 6:17PM
it seems to me that its a construction helmet.
jr @ Oct 19th 2008 2:34PM
wow amazing...damn i cant wait stupid ass delay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tmontana213 @ Oct 19th 2008 1:36PM
All these LittleBigPlanet videos aren't making it any easier for me to deal with the delay.
j.howlett @ Oct 19th 2008 1:59PM

Lowest score is a 90... I think the game will be recieved just fine.
francisco @ Oct 19th 2008 2:55PM
sweet! it looks awesome
Archon @ Oct 19th 2008 3:18PM
Any news on the CONFIRMED release date in the UK? I've heard something about the 31st, but there was no reliable source for that claim... Help? I'm really looking forward to this game...
Maverick Saturn @ Oct 19th 2008 3:24PM
Speak for yourself, I'm 20, played the beta and enjoyed it, so your opinion only matters to yourself.
Luke @ Oct 19th 2008 3:48PM
I know what you mean, Damian. I had the beta and it saved me £40. All the game is run, jump, grab onto something, then repeat. Everything is exactly the same.
muir666 @ Oct 19th 2008 4:49PM
confirmed date is the 31st. cant remember wer i found this but trust me it ws sumwer tht isnt often wrong. i just find it funny why theyv delayed it.a song tht uses phrases from the qoran do they think we're all gna burn effigies of them??
KingMe @ Oct 19th 2008 5:22PM
I played this level in the beta.....and I didn't like it
freeblue @ Oct 19th 2008 5:26PM
i got an email from bestbuy stated Nov. 30th. I thought the delay only until Oct. 27. well, If bestbuy hasn't gotten the game by oct. 27 I just need to cancel it and buy it somewhere.
collin @ Oct 19th 2008 5:59PM
Yeah, I got the stupid 11/30 postponed delivery date also. I called BB and they didn't know anything about the correct 10/27 date, so I'm thinking of cancelling too.
The problem is that they sent the accompanying LBP character in a shipment already, so I'd have to return the opened container.
So I might be stuck. Time to complain again to BB on Monday.
gillyy0 @ Oct 19th 2008 6:13PM
It's one thing to state your opinion, but it's different to degrade a game like you are. And when reviewers seem to be giving a game 9+ scores out of 10, I'm quite sure it's a good game to say the least. And if you don't like it, don't buy it.
I will still be buying this game thanks.
playcrackthesky @ Oct 19th 2008 8:23PM
Damian and Luke, sure it's just jumping, but in that logic call of duty 4 is just shooting.
To get the most out of this game, play it with family and friends, then watch as you laugh your ass off as time flies by. Playing on your own in a cruddy little apartment with left over cold pizza doesn't work.
John @ Oct 20th 2008 1:00AM
Sorry that my Qu'ran knowledge is virtually nill, but can someone please verify that the "la la la, la la la la la" lyric sung by Franz Ferdinand isn't a quote from any religious scripture?
Thanks
