Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of October 19th

Even though the release list for this week is painfully long (for our wallets, at least), we can't help but feel that something is missing ... Nevermind. When you see this week's releases you'll have no trouble putting the week-long delay of LittleBigPlanet at the back of your mind. There are literally too many to choose from -- and this is just one week's worth of games. Here's the full release list:

US Games

Far Cry 2 (Collector's Edition available at GAME)
Dead Space
MotoGP 08
Midnight Club: Los Angeles
Spider Man: Web of Shadows
Monopoly
Blitz The League II

Asian Games

NBA Live 09

Release dates are constantly subject to change, so be sure to check with your local store if you're uncertain. Also, feel free to import your games from other regions -- your PS3 loves exotic food. But keep in mind that DLC always needs to be purchased from the corresponding region. So if you have a US copy of Rock Band 2 you're going to be buying your tracks from the US PSN Store.

Wow, nice list. I wish i had money for Dead Space and Far Cry 2... *sigh* Guess ill just have to add them to the list of games to buy

Rock Band 2 being a timed exclusive makes me want it less and less. Does anyone else feel like Harmonix is laughing in are faces and is now like, "go and buy are game, even though its been out for a month on the 360."

I wouldn't be hurt if say the release date was a month earlier in Europe then it was where i live, but that didn't take place.

No, I don't feel that way, and I wouldn't blame it on Harmonix (the developer) at all. It's probably either MTV Games (the publisher) or EA (the distributor) that decided to take money from Microsoft for it. There's no mean-spiritedness involved. Really, stop taking such things so personally.

If it was a year, yeah I'd be pissed at them for sure. But a month? Come on man, four weeks is not a huge deal.

I'm just disappointed with Harmonix/MTV/EA for accepting MS's bribes than I am mad at them.

In all honesty, if someone shoved a huge wad of cash in my face and said "you get all this if you delay your game on 360 for a few weeks," I'd be hard-pressed to resist.

i wonder if spyro is any good. i liked the first games. spider-man and far cry look good i'll keep those in mind for later. midnight club while fun i never really got into. no LBP make me something something.

My choice lies with Eternal Sonata, I had it and LBP paid off, but now I will just take joy with Eternal Sonata and try to beat it before LBP come. s

I will probably get farcry 2 but I have read and seen practically nothing about it. The trailers look cool but other than that I have no idea what its like.

I know how some of you feel, My brother has the 360 and I have the ps3,but I don't feel any animosity towards harmonix. Instead of playing a blame game I'm enjoying the game right now! Its a must have, 10 stars. The games I'll be playing RB2,Bioshock,and Socom Confrontation w/Blutooth. This headset is priceless,but go into your voice chat settings to set it up correctly, I dropped my volume down to 2 and it's perfect!
