Only games that have an online ranking system with the stats built in can have retoractive trophies. Those trophies will ONLY work for the ones that are based on online stats.

Any single player game is impossible to make retroactive. It prevents cheating... Unlike the 360 does.

I have Bad Company for the 360 (and most of the achievements), but I've never seen the "Battlefield: Bad Company" achievement under Platinum... makes me want to get the PS3 version now!

What if you just play through on hard, will it unlock both, or do you have to play through on both hard and normal to get each of these?

In the 360 version the achievements don't stack. You have to play through both difficulties.

I know, I'm hardcore! Plus, I just got my PS3 a couple weeks ago and I still don't have any Trophies (or any games that give me trophies for that matter... I want to hear and see the Sony version of a newly unlocked achievement!).

I'd rather all the trophies were just for single player. Theres only so many games I actually like enough to play online and from the demo I can tell that this isn't one of them.

So do I buy a game where I'll only pick up two thirds of the trophies or not bother at all. Maybe when its reduced again is all I'll say.

Not for me, I wish there was more online trophies. They're not too hard to obtain either, minus the 10002, award/badge trophies.

I've played hours upon hours of Battlefield Bad Company and ther is no parachute that I know of.

Its not really a parachute, more like a free fall out of the heli.

Just go as high as you can in the heli and jump out, sure you will die but you get the award.

Wow, I forgot this game had a single player mode. But uh one question...parachute? Was that in a patch or something? Cause last time I checked there wasn't any parachutes in online mode, or at least none that anyone had been able to figure out.

There isn't any parachutes. Get in a helicopter and go as high as you can then jump out, that will get you the trophy. You'll die if you hit land, i did it over the water and amazingly I didn't die. But either way you still get the trophy.

Release game with bugs...patch for conquest...patch for trophies.

Are they ever going to get around to actually patching the game? Audio bugs, lag and clipping issues made me quit playing months ago.

get out. this makes me feel u didnt even play the game. honestly, ive faced a small minaorty of bugs, that doesnt even bother me, and i can say it doesnt happen.

seriosuly, if ur not a fan of the game, thats fine but dont bash this game, one of the most fun games on the ps3.
