LittleBigPlanet patch now out in Europe

As for North America, we've checked our own copies and no such patch is available at the moment. The patch was promised to hit on the official new release dates, though it looks like it may have come out early in Europe.
[Update: Eurogamer reports the patch "concerns certain online functions and adds more costumes, and that the music will be patched in a second update at a later date." It has not altered the song.]

I got it yesterday from Toys 'R Us, call your local one and see if it's in.
BTW the servers aren't live yet, or at least they weren't last night, so you're all single player and Create mode until the servers come online.

Well thats strange that it would be out in Europe when the game hasn't even been released. But thats stupid that they kept the song but removed two lyrics then go ahead and decide to delay the whole game. I thought they were going to remove the song as a whole. Oh wells what can you do.

It is interesting you mention that, I enjoyed the music more than the singing in the song, so less singing is welcomed. I am happy the song remains in the game, at least in some manner.

I have no issue with the song not having any lyrics. Its just that the way it sounded to me atleast was the patch would remove the WHOLE song. Its good though that they just removed the words though rather then the whole song so it still gives the level the same feel.

Well, I got the game. I would like to be able to play online, however, it does not matter much considering I can play the single player, which you need to in order to get all the stuff...

I suggest that, if you already beat every level 100%, you spend some time in the Create mode. Maybe you'll have something cool to contribute when the servers come online.

Fable 2 is better than i expected.
I didnt care for the original but I played it for about 7 hours yesterday straight, so yea... Id give it a 8.75 or a 9.
Im impressed. The combat is pretty good. Its reminds of a weird mixture of Zelda and Oblivion.

I just check like 30 minutes ago and the US servers were not up and running. I was able to earn 5-6 trophies though.

the servers arent up but in a way its a good thing just in case they catch you playing a game before its released like gears 2 on Live, then they ban you from live

Not totally true.. Right now if you are playing Gears 2 on Live and get banned then more then likely its because you are playing a pirated version of the game and not because you are playing a game early...

It's cool, even though you're selling yourself short. You got it a week early so there's nobody online and the servers don't work.
Which means you can't share levels, you can't play other people's levels, you can't do online co-op and races... You're missing about 50% of the game if not more.
Whatever. People think I'm crazy for playing GTA4 for 2 days then shelving it. Stranger things have happened.

I played this in Beta, This game is crazy addictive...
I think recalling it for a song is stupid.
It's the same as the Stupid Beaners changing to Biggby Coffee...

If I owned Beaners Coffee I would have changed the Name too... Except I would change it to Wetbacks Coffee to teach those whiners a lesson.
