Trophy Guide: Linger in Shadows

Trophy Whores have been waiting for a game like this. You can unlock all the Trophies from this title in less than an hour. However, rushing through will take away from the experience of this somewhat interactive piece of digital art.
- Linger in Shadows is a piece of digital video artwork. Its not a game in the traditional sense; rather an abstract, interactive experience designed to challenge and captivate your inquisitive mind.
- The Trophies for this game are split up into two categories: Sigils, and Greetings. The Sigil Trophies can all be obtained by just playing the game trough Linger mode. The Greetings Trophies are a bit harder, since they're all hidden trough the scenes.

Sigil Of Time Bronze | Very Easy At the beginning of the scene on Linger Mode, the game will pause. Simply press the X button to start it again. Then a second after that, press X to pause it again. This time an icon shaped like a controller will appear. Simply shake the controller to activate the SIXAXIS. The trophies for this game will not pop on the upper right corner as other ones do. Instead you will have to wait till the end of the whole scene to get them all. ---------- |

Sigil Of Motion Silver | Very Easy At one point the scene will stop and reverse itself. When this happens, icons on the top of your screen will appear. The L2 or the R2 buttons will be need to be pressed to fast forward the screen. ---------- |

Sigil Of Chaos Silver | Very Easy At around 03:06:000 you should pause the scene and you will notice a controller icon appear with arrows around it. Simply rotate the controller to continue. ---------- |

Sigil Of Nature Silver | Very Easy At around 04:48:000, you will see a cat. At this time on the screen you will see an option to press O. simply do so to continue. ---------- |

Sigil Of Creation Silver | Very Easy At around 05:19:000, you will have chance to press O again to light up the eyes of the robot. At 06:02:000, you will have to shake the controller to continue. ---------- |

Sigil Of Light Silver | Very Easy Just finish the scene to unlock all the Trophies so far. ---------- |

Greetings To Fairlight Bronze | Easy The Greetings Trophies are actually part of a puzzle scattered throughout the scene itself. At certain points of the scene you will pause and press the Square button to be able to look around. To look around simply move your controller in the direction you desire. For this Trophy pause the scene at 02:17:000 and look towards the lower left corner. ---------- |

Greetings To Sunflower Bronze | Easy For this one pause the scene at 03:10:000 and look towards your right hand side. ---------- |

Greetings To Still Bronze | Easy This next one can be a tad irritating. At around 03:13:000 pause the scene and you will see a small piller to the right. Which you can rotate. You must rotate it to reveal the puzzle piece you need. ---------- |

Greetings To Farbrausch Bronze | Easy Now at 03:31:000, pause the scene again and look towards the lower right for this piece. ---------- |

Greetings To The Black Lotus Bronze | Easy At 03:56:000 pause the scene and look to your lower left corner. ---------- |

Greetings To Conspiracy Bronze | Easy Now at 04:20:000, pause again and look towards your left. It's right past the dog laying down. ---------- |

Greetings To RGBA Bronze | Easy At 04:37:000, pause and look towards the very bottom right hand side to get this one. ---------- |

Greetings To MFX Bronze | Easy At 05:04:000, pause and look towards the left hand side for this one. Pass the cat. ---------- |

Greetings To Andromeda Software Development Bronze | Easy Now at 05:43:000, pause and look towards your upper right hand side for this one. ---------- |

Greetings To Madwizards Bronze | Easy Finally, at 05:54:000, pause and look towards your lower right hand side. Right beneath the cat. (Again all Trophies will be awarded after you finish the scene). |

All you have to do is watch it once in Linger and if you do the Triangle crap when it tells you to you will unlock all of them.
This doesn't deserve a full-on trophy guide guys, sorry to say.

That's why we weren't accepting any guides for this game. The main reason this is on the site? Our previous guide writer volunteered to this and one more guide.

This will really help out people having issues getting the trophies. Someone on my buddy list was having a lot of issues a week ago or something. I used the GameFAQs boards to help me get the rest of the Greetings that I missed.

by far the easiest to get, you get download this and have 100% trophies within 10mins easy, i got it last night, my daughter liked playing it

you can get 100% on burnout , 64 trophies including platnium burnout is 20$ on amazon.com right now buy it! you will get 100% no problem you don't even need to beat game to get 100% trophies!

I can't believe people need help with these trophies. Not only is it quite easy to find all ten Greets, but the camera symbol even flashes when you get close to one in the timeline. I took me two hours to find all of them without knowing about the camera trick, it took my brother 10 minutes with the trick :P

this took me about 30 mins to finish and get all the trophies. it was the easiest thing ever. hardly even worth 3 dollars. and the art was pathetic. why would you need a guy? the in-game menu explains EVERYTHING to you.

I wrote a guide similar to this on the night Linger In Shadows was released, and asked ps3fanboy if they wanted it, I never heard anything back... :(

We weren't accepting trophy guides for this game. The reason this is on the site is because our previous guide writer volunteered for it.

Supprised you never included the "Hidden Menu" in your guide,
After you complete it you can make a extra menu appear and theres a old amiga type demo thing with more greets and what not, at the main menu hold down L3 & R3 together

just sum advice to anyone looking for the greetings, dont do the cheat to get the extra menu first, cuz the greetings are coloured in if u do that and u wont be able to get the trophies, if you've already done that then just reload the game, if that makes sense lol

It's almost like charging $3 for 16 Trophies.

Thanks for the guide guys. Not very important, but the greetings trophies are not correct as the trophy you get does not correspond with the one in the guide. However, it is helpful anyway.

I think this game is broken! I missed some of the hidden "greetings" trophies when I finished the game the first time. I tried to get them the second time, and the game had all of the pictures colored, thinking I had gotten everything! What can I do to get the rest of the trophies?

I think I did the cheat for the Extra menu first before I started a new game. I'll try it again without the cheat.

I think you need the very first greeting to start collecting the others. I'm not sure tho...
Thanks for the guide. I wasn't getting it - just getting mad that apparently I had only done 52% of the stuff you could do and I had no clue what the rest was.
