Trophies: PixelJunk Monsters

Q-Games' popular tower defense game is getting a brand new mode: the Trophy challenge. This mode can only be done in single player, and has you completing levels with new objectives. This should add hours of new gameplay for those that have already mastered the game. The hidden Trophies can be completed in any game mode: just achieve the task.

Gold Trophy
	Rainbow Team Perfect clear the specified stage
Silver Trophies
	4 Tree Rainbow Perfect clear the specified stage
	Get Medieval Clear the specified stage using only arrows and cannons
	Encore : Black Flag Without selling any towers, clear the specified stage with all towers upgraded to black
Bronze Trophies
	Tower Collector Clear the specified stage by building every type of tower
	No Crossing Clear the specified stage without crossing the bridge
	Green Flag Clear the specified stage without a tower ever upgrading
	Picky Eater Clear the specified stage without using the fire tower
	Gem Hoarder Clear the specified stage with 25 or more gems
	Scrooge Clear the specified stage with a balance of 10,000 worth of coins or more
	Bomb The Boss Clear the specified stage using only bombs to destroy the boss
	Money Grubber Clear a stage without losing a single coin Hidden (Highlight to read)
	Construction Expert Build 10 towers in less than 30 seconds upon entering a stage Hidden
	Wave Goodbye Clear an entire wave of enemies with only a bomb Hidden
	Deep Impact Destroy 15 enemies at once with the Mortar Tower Hidden
	Encore : Scrooge's Return Clear the specified stage with a balance of 12,000 worth of coins or more
	Encore : Wishing Well Drop 100 coins into the water and clear the specified stage
	Encore : Zero Carat Clear the specified stage without using gems
	Encore : Lucky Find Find an extra large stash of coins and gems Hidden

Where it say "bomb" does it mean cannon towers? I've not seen a bomb? - Unless it's perhaps the mortar towers or something?

Can anyone help with that - I may be missing a useful Monster killing tool!

Press Square to use your bomb (only after you've unlocked it in Special 2).

It is a very useful, save-your-hide, tool. More than once I have been on the verge of losing and saved myself by leaving a mine at the hut.

My GF loves this game, and is always trying to get me to play it... I think this is enough to make me want to play it now :)

Also noticed that they are pushing the trophy stuff pretty hard in the past few days, surprising to me, but hopefully soon every game will have it @ launch.

wooop looking forward to this, monsters is awesum :) a few tough ones in there will keep us all busy for a while :D, never really used the bombs myself but that one sounds like its gonna hard :/

Yea, my girlfriend is always pushing this game. She's going to be pretty pissed that the trophy challenges are only one-player, but she'll get over it.

BTW, coming from someone who has rainbowed all levels for both PJM and Encore, some of these trophies look TOUGH.

My girlfriend loves this game too. She bought both the game and the expansion. Sucks that the trophies are single-player only, but whatever....I guess I can always work on hmwk (damn!).....

I hate trophies that require an expansion pack... and all does trophies are always gold or silver. IF i upgrade every game for the 100% trophies then i will need one of does $50 cards....damn you expansion packs!!!!

That's just weird... seems like only trophy whores would hate expansion trophies.

I would be pissed if I bought an expansion and there were no trophies to go along with it.

No but if youre going to release a game put only the trophies that you can get with that game, if you download an expansion pack... put another set apart of trophies for it.

I just dont get the hate of people that dont like trophies... what are you going to do when trophies come as a mandatory like the archivementes of the 360? are you going to act like a douche bag to everyone asking for them or just saying they will unlock every trophie? thats sick man.

Trophies are awesome, but what about the patch that adds difficulty levels??!? I'm still stuck on most of the medium difficulty! ;~(

I wouldn't call the core game "hard". More like "challenging". Once you figure out the right strategy for each level then it becomes really really easy. That's why I say challenging vs hard. However, Encore is murderous.

Actually, challenging is just another word for hard.. I tried a few levels using a Youtube walkthrough showing exactly where to place towers, and using two players (so we could cover twice the ground!) and still got torn up.

Maybe I just really suck at this game? :\ It's so fun though!
