We don't know too much about this action-RPG for PSP called
Zwei!!, but we do know one thing -- it's really pretty. A little research revealed the title was originally a PC game and it's currently being made by Falcom (makers of
Gurumin). December 11 is the game's release date for Japan, which isn't too far off. Hopefully, like
Gurumin, North America will also get to enjoy this Falcom RPG. Check out the debut trailer posted after the break.

Okay, we better get this thing!
It looks like a cross between Mana and Marl Kingdom. Too cool!

I agree with that statement.

Aw, I hoped this would be somehow related to that awesome Genesis classic, Herzog Zwei...
Oh well, looks promising anyways. And the graphic style looks cool too except the characters. Why do they always insist that characters must have huge heads and look like 2 year olds?

I downloaded this demo eons ago for Zwei on the pc and had a BLAST with it. Even without knowledge of Japanese it's a pretty easy play, but I would love a localization. Check out falcom's webpage for Zwei 2 that is WAY better than this one and that's saying something.

PIPIRU-CHAN! ACTION RPG! ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK!
That's all I could understand from the trailer, but the game looks pretty sweet and cute :D ... sorta like a cross between Legend of Mana and Zelda 3. I love that 2D art. Hope it gets across to the US!

Shiva, I think you're the immature one. I personally hate Mario games. I just don't like them. That's just personal taste, if you can comprehend that.
Maybe michael doesn't think "my console is better than yours" or "no! nintendo sucks!" or "360 ftw!". Maybe he just really doesn't like Nintendo consoles, just like i don't like Mario games (despite lots of ppl on the net that enjoy mario games). I also don't really like the WII console, but i own and love my DS. I don't think my maturity is correlated to what consoles i like or don't like.
If his intention was trolling, my bad for being his advocate. If not, maybe you're the one that should stop with the petty bullshit and respect other people's opinions.

That game is not bad at all.

I love the animation in this video, plus the game looks fun

Nice, an action rpg that reminds me Alundra from PSX. One of my favourite a-rpgs and 2d art of this game looks great. I'll have to start making a voodoo doll that will force director of Falcom to make a decision of localizing Zwei. Um, anyone can get me his hair?
Almadi @ Oct 26th 2008 5:46AM
I might buy this when it comes out in the US, along with a PSP-4000
Senna @ Oct 27th 2008 1:30PM
This looks, dare I say it, really cute. It reminds me a bit of Legend of Mana, and did I hear them say you level up by eating? Awesome. I would definitely look into it if it comes out in the U.S., but I'm not getting my hopes up before then.

Amazing. Its looks like the 2D Secret of Mana sequel that I have been waiting for since last decade. Its quite ridiculous that the feel and gameplay of Seiken Densetsu 2 has not been duplicated over all this time. If this comes to America it will be a day one purchase for me.

This looks like what Zelda should have been for the last handful of releases.

I played Zwei about 4-5 years ago on my PC... in Chinese. I got bored with it because there were only two attacks with the guy and I didn't play the girl that much... it seemed like she only had one attack. So it got boring after a while. Then I switched to Ys..
ritchan @ Nov 15th 2008 12:27PM
I forgot to mention - both discs of Zwei's OST are worth your time. Falcom is famous for their music, after all.
