LittleBigPlanet now available at GameStop

The headline says it all. Media Molecule's world-designer/platformer, LittleBigPlanet, is now ready and waiting at GameStop stores across the United States. The brick and mortar franchise started making phone calls to pre-orderers, letting them know the game would be available on Saturday, October 25. That means the retail chain is selling them today, yes today. So, before you head off, call your store and make sure they have copies in stock.

It looks like the LittleBigDelay has been diverted, or at least for the United States anyhow. The official release date was originally "week of October 27," which means GameStop patrons have gotten an early treat. We're not sure if any other retailers are getting their copies in, but best give them a call to check.

me too. got mine yesterday afternoon and it's totally groovy! there's so many cool customization options; if only there was a way to make sackboy a cyclops... (my psn id: cyclopean)

I got my copy yesterday... and immediately returned it.

The game is 720p only and my HDTV doesn't do 720p, even though it's only a 3-year-old TV.

Back to Dead Space and Call of Duty 4 for me.

Yeah.. Because it's that big of a deal to miss this game for. You do understand that removing the song with controversial lyrics isn't the only form of censorship going on, right? If you make a huge penis in-game, it can be removed. If you post certain words or phrases here, on PS3Fanboy, it will be censored.

Well, I won't debate your stupidity as a whole, I do wonder what in the world you mean by not enjoying something due to "censorship". You're on this site aren't you? is it unfortunately true that there is censorship in the internet, but i do believe games like carmaggeddon postal and other allow us to think censorship is not the way for everything you don't like, is it? not for 70€ (anyway i might still buy the game i just have the need to ramble so they don't think they can do whatever they want that we'll just eat it and pay

I actually got the call yesterday and picked mine up last night.

Be aware that since the street date is still Monday, the servers are down. That means no patches, no shared levels, and the Gamestop Kratos codes don't work either.

Picked mine up at around 11 am this morning. There's a it more to the levels than was in the Beta. The servers also appear to be down and no, the pre-order codes do not work yet.

Best game since Super Mario World, it's pretty amazing to think that the story levels are possible to create with the level editor, the only complaint I have is the jumping which can be annoying in later levels with moving platforms.

Called my local gamestop and they were jerks to me. Told me it doesnt come out until Monday. I told them how Gamestops across the nation are selling the game today and they just said "well we arent"

I hate gamestop. I would go buy it someplace else if I didint already pre-order it from them...
