November issue of Qore takes us Home

Veronica Belmont will take us Home in the next issue of Qore. No, she's not taking us to her house, you silly people; she's going to show us what's up with PlayStation Home. That's much more exciting, isn't it?If being shown Home, just so happens to not appease you enough ... then how does getting into the closed beta sound? Yeah, the November issue of Qore will also give both annual subscribers and one-off purchasers an invite into the Home closed beta to sweeten the pot. Qore's new issue will hit early next month.

The other thing to remember is that this seems to imply that the open beta will not drop in Nov... unless they are only giving the qore peeps a week or two in the CB.

Downloaded through Qore or sit and wait and hope you get sent an email? Still waiting on my R2 beta email. Had to fight Sony to get my SOCOM beta key. So in other words Sony can kiss my you know what with this Qore BS.

Same for me. Ive posted on the ps blog and on the socom blog, nothing. Idk whats going on but if it continues ill stop buying stuff from psn... ok maybe not, but buying qore is out the window.

i'm with you bro. finally got my R2 beta invite (not from Qore tho) yesterday, same day i got my recalled LittleBigPlanet from ebay. haven't touched it, but i did get a questionnaire about Qore and gave the beta promises horrible marks

Stop hating. Sony did e-mail me with R2 beta key, and several other people too. Just because you are not lucky doesn't mean it's their fault.

It's probably one of those cross your fingers and wait for the email thing. I too had to send sony email asking why I'm not getting my socom code. But socom sucked and not worth the $2.99.

The August issue of Qore promised an invitation to the R2 beta in September, but that still hasn't happened (even though it's a fully open beta at this point.)

If they're opening Home up to people that buy this ep, the full public open beta HAS to be very soon. This'll be like a mini stress test.
Doesn't matter to me, I'm a Qore subscriber and have been in the beta for a good 2 months now. Nothing special at all to be honest. Not much to do.

Another day, another piece of news about Home that doesn't concern its release. If this gets released this year i'll give my PS3 and my ENTIRE PlayStation games collection (which started when I was about 8) to charity. I'd take this offer up if it was available to Europeans but unfortunately we have to wait until next year for our copy/version of Qore. Well, us Brits do anyway.

What more should I have on someone I've never met? Your judged by your actions which so far has only been two comments. I dont like to make rash generalizations like you seem to. I must say.. Although I do like Qore and all.. It kinda bothers me that the EXCLUSIVE CONTENT is not really that exclusive.. First off.. I have a subscription to PlayStation Magazine.. the last few issues have had codes for free Qore downloads... Great for those who have not purchased Qore. Also..I am also already a HOME beta tester.. One week for a DEMO isnt all that exclusive.. To me EXCLUSIVITY means that only a select few will have the content available.. Qore can be so much more.. I guess its a start.. HOME on the other hand.. has an EXTREME amount of potential.. It will be what we make of it.. We have to support SONY on this.. Also.. whats up with DRESS! Its another program with potential. Id love to have more options for my Home Avatar.

No thanks. The August edition of Qore promised an invite to the Resistance 2 Beta. I purchased it on day one. The Qore invite was promised "Late September" and it is now late October with still nothing delivered. The only perk that Qore has is granting you beta access and early demos but they can't even deliver that. All the "exclusive" videos they have end up on the Internet and you can watch it for free.
It's not worth it to pay $3 per issue or $20+ for a year when you get nothing out of it. If they gave early access to betas then that would be great but there are other methods to get into betas and you'll most likely get in before the Qore members.

I've had the closed beta of Home for, hmm, maybe a month now. Very underwhelming. No wonder Sony's so afraid to show it off to anyone. I don't plan on booting it up again anytime soon either.

Yes, I do know what it is. (Ex: I enjoyed Linger in Shadows regardless of whether or not it was a "game.") I guess what I meant is that the expectations for this were so high and it seemed like this huge thing. When I tried it though, it didn't seem like much was going on (and I also really don't like that it took about half an hour to download and install each individual new room you entered. Big turn-off). I guess another downfall is that I don't have many online friends, and I was hoping that Home would make things easier than it would be to just meet people in-game, but I just haven't gotten a good vibe from it yet.

Well I'm sad and glad that those are your reasons. The long loading thing must be one of the many reasons that it's taking forever to come out, but I'm sure that the overall experience will be much better once everyone has access. Clubs, groups, etc....

I am a qore annual subcriber since August and got my R2 Beta the seconde day it was announced on the myres fourms. I also have HOME since the LBP beta was relesed and it is not that good. There are barely people on it and the conent sucks makeing a girl avatar also sucks because they are all ugly.

Well atleast Sony finally mentioned something about Qore people and Home Invites. This is a cheap marketing scam but a smart one at the same time. I know its a scam for Sony to make money but sadly I am falling for it. I usually get a free code for Qore via Playstation Magazine but I really want to get into Home. I want to see what its all about and now they are atleast giving people a way in (but you have to pay and isn't Home supposed to be FREE?!) Oh well though what can you do.
They should really though just release Home already before New Xbox Live Experience.

Home sucks...been in the beta for awhile and it is boring. It needs region specific content with the ability to jump regions. It also needs more opportunity for user creation via media, plus the regular ads from games and such.

Got Qore in september Cant wait and to the guys complaining about they didnt get there R2 beta code i belive the beta codes were annual Subscribers only so if you purchased single epsiodes you did not get them.atleast i think anyway but cant wait to be Home next month :)
