Redeemable LBP codes will work later this evening [UPDATE]

Have you got a Kratos or Nariko pre-order code to redeem for LittleBigPlanet? Well, if you've tried using them you might have found out they're not working yet. You'll have to wait until this evening to use them -- so says a new post on the PS.Blog. SCEA Marketing Manager Mark Valledor wrote: "to those who've pre-ordered LBP in North America and are waiting to download Nariko or Kratos & company, this should all be ready by later tonight." In the meantime, we suggest you get back to playing, sharing and creating.

It's funny how most of the writers at ps3fanboy own 360's. I know theres nothing wrong with that, but real ps3fanboys at heart wouldnt do this. I know I wouldnt.

I was a bit late in trying to pre-order from Best Buy. If anyone has any advice (not including eBay) I'd appreciate it.

Same here. I tried to pre-order 2 months early but they didn't have anything yet. So I went into BB last week, hoping to pre-order and get the code. But they said they didn't have any more. Arrg!

i'd guess at 1.99 cuz they know people will buy, but chances are those without the code gotta wait till thursdays update to buy them,. I dont have the game yet anyway, even though it's probably sitting right across the street waiting,. but i'm busy playing eternal Sonata so it can wait till that's beaten.

I have ES too, and its a GREAT game.

Your completely right in finishing it first, since once you start playing LBP, you won't want to stop.

I'm looking back at the time when I go back to ES but LBP has its hooks in me, real deep.

is Eternal Sonata really that good? i actually just bought a 360 because of the lack of a decent JRPG line up for the PS3 (ironic huh?). i got Blue Dragon and Tales of Vesperia. i played some of Blue Dragon and liked it but Tales hasnt shown up yet. anyway, i may pick ES on PS3 (since it has extra stuff) later but right now, im already hooked on LBP. i honestly cant remember the last time i played a game for 6 hours the first night i got it. this game is friggin amazing!

I guess so... I downloaded the Scorpion suit for Dead Space from the Honk Kong store and it work on all accounts, why shouldn't it work with LBP...

My game seems to be moving in slow motion and the online is SOOOOO Slow right now!

The XMB took 1 minute to load and the game is freezing

(worked fine before servers sent up)

So if I remember right, I thought the codes were good for multiple downloads. The reason I'm wondering is, I have a nariko code, and am trying to get both nariko and kratos. I'm willing to swap my code with a kratos if multiple downloads are supported. Let me know!

I think you can sign on to someone else's PS3 and re-download it... but I don't think you can actually redeem the same code twice.

Selling these costumes on the store would screw the people who pre-ordered. If they insist on selling them, they should be a variant version, maybe with different colors. The marketing guy on the ps blog once suggested that if they do sell them, there would be a delay.

I just got the game, I was on the playstation forums and I'm pretty sure that you can use the code 5 times so that people can get both downloads. I'm trying to post over there but somehow my account got screwed up. Get on PSN and contact me their and I'll trade you my Nariko (best buy preorder code) for your Kratos (Gamestop) code. We can test this out since we've both already downloaded our stuff.
