Guitar Hero: World Tour unlock all songs code, more Hendrix coming

Activision has announced two track packs for Guitar Hero: World Tour -- one with songs by Jimi Hendrix and one with songs by the group the Raconteurs:
Jimi Hendrix:

- "Little Wing"
- "Fire" (Live version)
- "Salute Your Solution"
- "Hold Up"

Go to the "Cheats" section in the "Options" menu and the enter the following: Blue, Blue, Red, Green, Green, Blue, Blue, Yellow.

Although Hendrix is great, The Beatles? Seriously? I can't afford the whole kit but i'll buy the game and just use guitar if they're on it! Link?
Also, I hope RB2 is out in UK soon, then RB1 price may go down.

Meh, I'd rather play Hendrix. Personally, I find about 98% of the songs by the Beatles to be boring. I respect them and all that, but would just have more fun playing Hendrix. I long for the day when every song works with every game, or maybe some day we can use our own music files.

I'd rather play Siouxsie and the Banshees, but the Beatles would be kinda cool. It's guitar hero so the Hendrix tracks will be unrealistically lacking in strumming anyhow.

Hell i love the Beatles , i even live on Penny Lane in Liverpool but Hendrix is .......well words can't do him justice the man ? lad ? boy ? was a genius and to lose him so young was along with Lennon and Presley one of the saddest losses to music of all time , may he rest in beautiful peace .
Little Wing what an absolute tune by the way . I'm not sure about these rhythm games , tried a few and as Jimi might say "I'm not digging them baby!" .
Got a real acoustic guitar a few months back and I really got to get my act in gear and start learning .

Hendrix and Jack White are gods. This has made Guitar Hero better than Rock Band. Buckethead, Hendrix, White, Van Halen and the Eagles are enough to make me scream! Whoever gets Led Zeppelin (yeah right) or the Beatles (same) will win my money for good though.

I'm enjoying the differences between the tone and style of writing on Guitar Hero World Tour posts between Jem (see here: http://playstation.joystiq.com/2008/10/27/ghwt-instruments-dont-work-with-rock-band/) and the rest of the PS3Fanboy staff. Does the man have a vendetta against the game?!

LOL Kyle, you idiot. Obama would really have an afro and be running for president, wouldn't he? That's Jimi Hendrix! According to MTV, VH1, Rolling Stone, et cetera, he is the greatest guitarist of all time. Of course, I wish that you could battle him on GHWT, that'd be fun. What would really be awesome is if Pantera was on GT, with Dimebag Darrell as an unlockable character, it's gonna be awesome when GT:Metallica comes out and you can battle Kirk Hammett. I CAN'T WAIT!
With much due respect, don't anyone get offended but fuck The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. I love Led Zep and The Beatles and lot of people still like them too, but in this new generation where everyone's in front of a screen, they're just going to be forgotten. They'll be as about as popular as Beethoven is to teenagers. They'll have to cave in sometime because everyone is getting in to the songs on these games and getting out of the old shit. Of course it'll take time, maybe 5-10 maybe even 20 years, but they will. Same way with Pink Floyd! What sucks though is we'll be old and all of our kids are going say "Who in the blue hell is The Beatles or Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin?" Sad, but true.
