Battlefield: Bad Company Trophy patch now live

The Battlefield Bad Company trophy patch is now available for download. Simply insert and launch the game disc and follow the on screen instructions. This patch adds quite a large selection of content including bug fixes and those all important Trophies. The update should also contain four new multiplayer maps as voted for by you, the community. Namely: Acta Non Verba, Par For The Course, Ghost Town and Crossing Over. Check out the official website for videos of the four new maps.

Excellent news , I just patched mine and received 16 trophies immediately !
I have played all 4 of the new conquest maps and they are top notch.
Love this game and now that mics finally work after Sonys last update (poor EA/Dice got the blame!) its finally the game it was intended to be , the best multiplayer shooter around (on console at least) .
If your a huge fan of Dice like me then don't forget we are getting the Mirrors Edge demo later today from them.

Please God, tell me that they fixed the squad invites. Anyone try this yet? It's unbelievable to be that it's gone this long not fixed.

So the trophies are retroactive too? I won't need to restart the single player from the beginning?

Now only if Infinity Ward could take the time after their next project to make a Trophy patch for Call of Duty 4, then my life would be set.

By the way, the GTA IV Trophies are kind of lame, considering that most make you go out of your way to get them and the mini-game ones are a chore. But I appreciate them none-the-less.

And.... fix the damn partying with friends. One thing about microsoft is they force pubilishers to add better friend support. But, IW really did a number on the COD4 Partying system on the PSN. Sony should have their own friend systems on the psn instead of relying on the dev's

trying to update my Hong Kong gold edition for 5 hours, still 10 percent... Speed isn't gettin higher than 14kbps.
Too bad. Leave it for night. And after update i'll finally play in single player for the first time.

Yay, another game I can start over from the beginning for trophies! Well, at least they're showing support at all, unlike some studios, so I won't complain too much. Go DICE.

Yeah, at least the online trophies are. Don't think that the single player trophies will.

Cool, I have been looking for an excuse to pick up a copy of this game. With the bug fixes, new maps and trophies support it is worth picking it up.

Now I have to try and find time to play it since I just got FarCry 2 and Resistance 2 is due out in a few weeks. Ug, I need to get Motorstorm Pacific Rift too yet. Well, maybe I will get some as X-mas gifts ;)

Oh my, what a busy gaming schedule these past(and coming) few months have been.

So much fun to be had.

I already had a saved game of Bad Company on my PS3. I am on level or area or whatever 3 or 4. Each time I find a collectible or piece of gold it says "Trophy not Earned" WTF!?

Am i the only person who's ps3 wont let them download this patch. iv tried 6 or 7 times and every god damn time it just freezes and then resets itself. thought to be fair that doesnt surprise me as it is refusing to let me 5 other games since i downloaded version 2.50
Even sony dont know why its doing it :(

This and the GTA4 is the best thing that have happened to me this week. If MGS4 and CoD4 get trophy support then, would be the best thing in my life in a while :D But the peoples from Infinity Ward don't care doing it. We should start a petition for it to be.

Yo yo!
The squad invites suck!!! Why have something in a game that doesn't work??? & to top that off u end up getting stuck on different squads from your friends, thats if u manage to get on the same team in the first place, Not to mention when u get shafted on different squads u can't talk to your friends on the other squads & thats just stupid. Either get them fixed or do away with them altogether, better off just doing away with them coz EA can't seem to fix nowt.
