Don't forget that your PS3 is region free. If you see anything on this list that isn't available where you live go ahead and import. Keep in mind that DLC is locked to the game disc's region so if you buy a US game you'll need to get your DLC from the US PSN Store. Release dates are constantly subject to change. That's our way of saying "don't blame us if something gets delayed last minute."

yeah it sux to live in the middle east and use pal systems i'm going to look at u guys playing R2 good thing there are games like dead space and bioshock but it's still a bummer

PS3 games are region free. If you want to play R2, you can import it and it'll play fine on your system.

anyone have any idea how Quantum Of Solace is? i'm not usually a fan of movie-based games.. they always seem like they were made by someone who doesn't know a thing about games (and never saw the movie either!) but this one looks like it could potentially be good!

it's based on casino royale and Quantum Of Solace the game uses call of duty 4 engine and it's made by the guys who brought you cod1 and 3 it's a game u can choose 3rd person view or first person view if i were you i would see the ratings from websites like ign hope it's berfect though

I played the pc demo about 2 weeks back. I uninstalled after one run through. It was really really clunky.

Gears 2 will be fun, no doubt. If I had a 360 I would definitely pick it up.
With that being said, however, bring on R2. I can't wait.

Not that I condone flaming, but posting that on the ps3fanboy forum basically forfeited any right he had not to be made fun of for his choices.
That said, I can't wait to get my hands on R2! I'm forcing myself to wait until the weekend though... too many important things I can't blow off this week. (tear rolling down my cheek)

that's an EU release. it would cost the same as a US game and the only one i want from this week is resistance 2. i just sing along to disney movies or any music really. i'm not into music games today.

I bought Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2009 for PS3 in USA, now I bought an addon (golf-course) over european PS store, and it is not functionally!! I asked what to do by EA, by Playstation store suppot - without a solution. One thing is clear - European store product is not compatible with US game!!!!

Don't do it! You'll have a crap load of drama getting DLC, and you *may* encounter some online multiplayer issues.
I'm all for importing (I live in Australia.. sigh), but when it comes to games where the online play is core or meaningful DLC seems likely, I stick to buying local.

I'm excited about Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm. It's the best-looking anime-to-game adaptation yet, I think. I can't wait to try it out!
Valkyria Chronicles and Resistance 2 come after. After my disappointment with LittleBigPlanet, I need something to bring me back up.

Great, I thought the littlebigplanet servers were bad before, now let's throw europe in the mix too. Sony needs a socom level overhaul of those servers stat. Expect to not play LBP online again this week. I guess I'll barrel my way through R2 while patiently waiting for the inevitable LBP server fix.

cant wait to get resistance 2, end war, and naruto. i gotta buy fallout 3 and far cry 2 first though, i just bought brothers in arms and nba 2k9 and im broke lol, i need to sell some of the psp games i dont play, or the ps3 games i dont play because i beat them, and they have no online that interests me. so many games this holiday, i also might import white knight story from japan. also a question, am i the only one who doesnt like the gloss of the ps3 and perfers the type of material the ps2 was made out of?

They should come out with a matte finish like the MGS4 edition, but black.
I really dislike the gloss of the PS3. Much prefer the matte black of the PS2 and 360 Elite.

No way, I wish the PS3 had a matte finish or something other than gloss as well . . . hell, if they had kept the same brick shape with the same exact look, I'd like it even more than I do now, I think.

I would be excited but the BD drive in my PS3 just crapped out. I'm having the system sent out and hopefully will get it back within a couple of weeks. I NEED Valkyria Chronicles. NEED IT. Do you people understand the words coming out of your screen!! The only thing that I'm worried about is that my system is a 60gb model. I hope they can fix it. Wish me luck!

One of our ex-writers was telling me just the other day that Sony managed a 5-day turnaround on his broken 60GB PS3. Said they sent him a brand new 60GB. Hopefully the same will happen to you!

Geez, I really need to settle down. Waiting on LBP (EU), Importing Rockband 2, Naruto UNS and Resistance 2. With all these awesome games coming out it's as if my mind ignores common sense and makes me spend ALL my money on games...this is getting ridiculous.

Why make us choose?
I want 3rd party exclusive to do well but I can't pass over R2.
Guess it comes down to story and support:
Valkyria Chronicles has a better story.
But R2 has trophies and multiplayer.
