Imageepoch maybe working on a PSP title

Imageepoch, best know in the US for the DS RPG title Luminous Arc and the upcoming Wii title Arc Rise Fantasia, is contemplating development of a game for the PSP. Ryoei Mikage, President of Imageepoch, told Siliconera that "Next year or next, next year there might be a really cool action PSP game." For those of you who have played Imageepoch's other titles, are you excited by this news?

sorry i'm not familiar with DS titles but this is good right? hey, at this point i'm looking for anything new (preferably something good XD)

I would be excited if it were an SRPG like Luminous Arc (which will actually make up half the games I own for the DS, I have 3 games for it and LA2 pre-ordered).
But an "action game"? Meh.

They could mean action rpg (like kingdom hearts, secret of mana, etc.)

What is it with SRPGs lately? The DS and the PSP are both flush with them. It's just....weird.
And for the record, Luminous Arc is awesome, and you should really go buy a DS and get a copy of Luminous Arc 2.

I don't play DS so I dunno... but any game developer into anime RPGs is more than welcome :D :D :D

I doubt it could be a game in the Luminous Arc series since it appears to be only for the DS at the moment. However it would be interesting to see if they create a new series that is exclusive for the PSP.

If they can come up with something that features artwork as good as Luminous Arc, I'm tempted already. I love the style of their games, and I'm happy to back any developer who wants to develop for the PSP.

"Next year or next, next year there might be a really cool action PSP game." well that's some 'great' news - there is a chance that maybe they will make an action game and maybe release it in 2 years..., what's next? some company will announce that they are thinking about the possibility to think about releasing a game ? Couldn't they say instead that they will make a game if PSP will keep selling like it does right now in Japan ?
